It's a goal of mine to move to Paris for 3 months, and I also have a dachshund! Having your own business was qualifying for the lease? I've been trying to figure out how to get a lease like that. Did you find the apartment on your own or through an agency?

Hi! I was looking on agency sites such as parisattitude, but decided against it due to the high agency fees. I found my apartment through PAP (De Particulier à Particulier) and rented directly from the owner. We had a French mobility lease, and I wrote a letter saying my business is sending me to Paris to qualify. We ended up needing to break this lease due to a problem with the apartment, which according to the lease terms required 30 days notice, but in general that’s how I did it. I also was required to have renter’s insurance. Hope this helps! And love to meet another dachshund owner🥰
