The jeeps have a variable voltage alternator from what I understand. My 2020 jeep gladiator rubicon does the same thing and I even deleted the start stop battery and used my Tazer mini to disconnect the start stop permanently. I don't like the variable voltage either because it's hard to determine if it's normal or a mechanical issue. I think it’s a duel battery meter on the jeep that’s showing low voltage of 12.6 and then goes back to 14.2 volts
