As with any electronic instrument, keyboard or accordion, in order to appreciate the sound quality that the instrument is capable of, one must feed the audio output to a proper audio amplifier/speaker system. The same is true when listening to videos online. You must use either studio quality headphones, or a proper audio amplifier/speaker system. You cannot expect on board speakers on any electronic instrument or computer to accurately reproduce the true sonic quality that the instrument is capable of. Still, even when using the on board speakers of the FR-1x, there is a very noticeable difference between "Master", "Musette", "Clarinet", and "Piccolo". The instrument has 14 reed combinations. Be honest now, surely if you listen attentively enough you'll notice a difference between some of them?

The reed combinations are just different octaves of the same sound combined. Of course, the names of the voices suggest that they'd actually be different, but they aren't. But that's just how traditionally accordion voices are named. It sounds very authentic in the video. Plus, the tremolo voice you wouldn't get on many acoustic accordions.
