don't get me wrong, the worldbuilding in this is fantastic and i absolutely love it! but in character? my prince is *_so fucking bored_* rn, man. imagine you get kidnapped and might never see your pretty boyfriend again, and ON TOP OF ALL THAT, your grandpa ass kidnapper just _won't stop lecturing you_ about the history of France and his tours in Vietnam or some shit. _and he only pauses to flirt with you._ like, oh my god. i want my knight but i'll do _anything_ to stop this. just straight up torture me at this point- :')

I have a very clear mental image of the Prince, while technically listening, being very distant while the monologuing is happening. Glassy eyed, staring away into the middle distance while he’s leered over until Sylvanas announces that the knights are coming and his eyes focus and his postures stiffens because he knows Sir Hawthorn’s in danger coming to try and save him…

Why’d you have to leave us like thisssss 😭😭 (loved the audio❤) Big ol’ Theory: Maybe Vex goes after royalty as a serial feeding. This could be due to feeding only *or* Vex and the missing king have a whole friends to lovers (series??) thing and is trying to get that “feeling/taste” back. If this is the case then I’d really love a series that starts from the beginning of the king/Vex’s relationship all the way to the present. Another idea if MK (missing king) and Vex were a thing: Vex and MK could parallel PL (prince listener) and Knight where Vex was MK’s knight. He could have a moment where he sees the mutual love of PL and Knight and lets them both go, the three of them being allies.
