I am in total transcendental state while listening to this amazing Lalit. It is one of life’s most pleasant experiences to hear Raag Lalit from Pt.Budhaditya Mukherjee. I have heard his Lalit on two cassettes, heard his Lalit live at Sadarang festival in Calcutta and enjoyed all. But this one sort of immerses you in the ocean of infinite, unending exuberance. The constant array of tuneful notes accompanied by perfect rhythm by Soumen Nandy makes a musical journey without parallel.

Pranav: I know him and have heard him since 1974. He published a cassette during 1980s in which one side is Raga Lalit and another side is Raga Sahana. On another published cassette he has done jugalbadhi with Pt. Bhajan Sapori on Santoor, where in, they played raga Lalit on one side and on another side they played Raga Zinzoti. I heard his live Raga Lalit at "Sadarang" festival in Kolkata during 1980s. If you go to my Facebook page you can see him play this Lalit. It is only drut Gat. I can't find alaap and Vilambit Gat for this Lalit.

@@debasridebdas2823 @Debasri Deb Das I have the same confusion... If this is recorded in 2013, then how come this version and the Darbar version totally identical? Listen to the gat and the last jhala part of this video and the darbar videos.... They're the same. I'm confused...
