I have a little doubt sir Where is the neutral came from in PT. Its works on HT line ,means across the delta . Then how can we connect PT to neutral ?
@afridi8779
@afridi8779 6 жыл бұрын
In real life one end of primary of pt is earthed it also act as a neutral. Thats why pt is having only one studs for phase and the other earth one is in terminal box.

Does the current through the voltmeter not become extremely high and voltage drop over the currentmetering tool become extremely high aswell??
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390 18 күн бұрын
A voltmeter connected in parallel to a high-voltage source but with a low internal resistance would draw significant current, potentially overheating and damaging the voltmeter. Similarly, an ammeter with significant internal resistance in series with a load would cause a noticeable voltage drop, leading to incorrect current measurements and disturbing the circuit. By using tools designed with the proper impedance characteristics for their intended measurement purpose, these issues are avoided

Nice teaching style sir.. Keep uploading such great informative videos..... One advice: Plz decompress the video using software like handbrake before uploading as it reduces the size of the video to a great extent without a loss of video quality...

@learnwithus-electricalengi7390

why take parrallel circuit in pt and series circuit in ct
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390
@learnwithus-electricalengi7390 5 жыл бұрын
It is the conventional approach to sense voltage across the terminals and the current through the terminals. So in PT, coil is connected in parallel (across) and in CT, coil is connected in series (through) the circuit. I hope this helps.
