Great Golden Age .... when Harmonium was at its right place : Home or school only ... Pt Gopal Mishra , Pt Ram Narayan ustad Abdul Latif Khan Ustad Munir Khan Ustad Roshan Ali , are Heroes , tru legends and serious exponents of the most difficult instrument in this world ... all others can just bow down to feet of those TRU PANDIT ...because they can only reach their feet .... Pt Gopal Mishra is above... and his brother on tabla is above to .... Harmonium require maximum 2,5 fingers ....but nowadays the cult of madness around this so.called " instrument " makes me wonder .... Sarangi rules forever ... we miss u Pt ji ....so much ... nobody has this sound , sûr, skills and SOUL .... Once we discover this Gem , difficult to enjoy others .... Thanks god , thanks Pandit Gopal Mishra , it is because of this recording i am into Sarangi last 15 years ... Pranam Jay Guru 🙏

Firstly.. stupendous sur lagao.... he passed away too early.. he was a sursiddha mahapurush.. matters the least if he had an issue with alchohol. He was not meant to live in this world... His soul was for a better world where his sublime music is being appreciated. Secondly je was the uncle of the Rajan Sajan Mishra jugalbandi jodi, but Rajanji has joined his uncle last year and are probably creating sound byte combinations unheard of in our world.. Grate to Baibhab for these beautiful recordings...

Baibhav, firstly thank you very much...There were two sarangi players by the name of Goal Mishra...First one was at AIR Delhi and the second one the uncle of Rajan Sajan Mishra...Which one is this...?

I'm not sure whether this sarangi player is related to Rajan-Sajan Mishra. But I guess he is related to pt. Anokhelal. So probably also related to pt. Rajan-Sajan
