อยากอธิบายว่าจริงๆในไทยการมีร้านอาหารข้างทางเยอะไม่เกี่ยวกับการมีอากาศที่ร้อนค่ะ ที่มีร้านอาหารข้างทางเยอะเพราะมันเป็นหนึ่งอาชีพที่คนไทยทำเป็นจำนวนมากและในไทยมีอาหารที่หลากหลายมากๆและมีหลายระดับตั้งแต่ระดับหรูโรงแรมห้าดาวจนถึงแบบง่ายมีหลายสไตล์คุณสามารถเลือกได้ และการทำอาหารปกติในบ้านทุกคนก็ทำเหมือนกันไม่เกี่ยวกับอากาศค่ะ คลิปที่คุณดูเป็นการรีวิวอาหารและบางคลิปคือคลิปการสอนทำอาหารกินเองที่บ้านได้ค่ะ คลิป1. ผัดปลากระป๋องใส่ไข่ราดข้าว เมนูง่ายๆทำกินเองที่บ้านได้ 2. สุกี้น้ำ สามารถทำเองได้หรือไปร้านที่มีชื่อเสียงดังๆได้ เมนูนี้มีทั้งแบบน้ำและแห้ง วิธีกินโดยการราดน้ำจิ้มสุกี้ 3.ข้าวไก่เทอริยากิ เป็นอีกเมนูอาหารญี่ปุ่นที่คนไทยนิยมกินในร้านอาหารญี่ปุ่นแต่ในคลิปคือการสอนให้ทำกินเองได้ที่บ้านค่ะ 4.ไข่กระทะ เป็นเมนูที่มีต้นกำเนิดมาจากประเทศเวียดนามแต่คนไทยก็นำมาปรับเปลี่ยนแบบสไตล์ไทยสามารถใส่ท๊อปปิ้งตามชอบได้เช่น ในคลิปใส่ หมูสับ หมูยอ กุนเชียง ต้นหอม นิยมทานเป็นอาหารเช้าพร้อมเครื่องดื่มชา กาแฟ 5.ผักกาดขาวห่อเนื้อไก่ เมนูนี้สามารถเลือกใส่ด้านในได้ตามชอบเช่นเนื้อหมู เนื้อกุ้ง โดยการนำไปนึ่งพร้อมกับน้ำจิ้มสุกี้ ในคลิปคือการสอนวิธีทำกินเองได้ค่ะ 6.พาสต้าชีส คลิปนี้เป็นคลิปรีวิวในร้านอาหารค่ะ การใส่อาหารในถุงคือเป็นสิ่งที่สะดวกรวดเร็วในร้านอาหารในไทยค่ะโดยเฉพาะร้านขายกับข้าว คนไทยพอกลับถึงบ้านหลังเลิกงานจะหุงข้าวกันเองและนิยมซื้อแต่กับข้าว(ข้าวแกง) กลับบ้านที่ใส่ถุงเพราะมักจะมีอาหารที่เป็นต้มเป็นแกงเป็นส่วนใหญ่แต่แบบเป็นใส่กล่องบรรจุภัณฑ์ต่างๆในไทยก็มีนะคะคุณสามารถถามทางร้านหรือสั่งได้ค่ะ

อาหารใส่ถุงพลาสติกง่ายต่อการใช้งานและไม่เกะกะค่ะ คนไทยบางส่วนก็เริ่มหันมาสนใจสิ่งแวดล้อมมากขึ้น จะเอากล่องอาหารจากบ้านไปใส่เองค่ะ

A Thai stumbled upon you video. At 0:25 FYI for foreigners you get it wrong krub. If it's so how can TH has many dishes, some are quite sophiticated in making/decoration, right? It cannot be done by vendors/restos since for them time is money -- the more their table turn-over rate, the more money they earn. In fact if you look at many documentary/records you'll see that almost all Thai cooked at home in the old days -- hundred of centuries till about '60-'70. However with the growing of economy and less glass-ceiling regarding gender compared to some Asian culture Thai women started to work outside their home (from mid '70-'80 onward), and that's the booming of food vendors/street food since these women don't have time to cook at home. It's the changing of economic/social condition/role -- nothing to do with tempertaure or climate. (PS. A bit off topic but it's the first time I hear that theory. Same thing I hear first time from Korean eg. Thai has a lot of LGBTQ+ because in the old day they dressed man as woman to avoid being conscripted for soldier. My first reaction is :Where do you get that idea?!? It might be just a minor thing but it also shows that we still lacks a lot of knowledge about others.)

'Thai house will hotter because home cooking' is not true. Of course, temperature in the kitchen will rise if someone cooking in there but the temp is not higher in every areas of the kitchen. Additionally, risen temperature in some areas of the kitchen i.e. around rice cooker is also not too high. Furthermore, the average temperature of all areas in a Thai house will not rise or fall just because someone cooking in its kitchen. Actually, Thai traditional house was developed for the Thais to living comfortably in the tropical zone. It is relatively cool when comparing with ambient temperature outside of the house. This unique aspect is still exist in modern Thai house even our modern style has a bit of influences from western world. For the home cooking in Thai good old days and its rural scenes, food aroma bursting every times when our parents work in the kitchen is a pleasure of all times for Thai people. It is also very typical thing in Thai traditional villages if that food aroma covering half of the neighborhood and becoming a common great pleasure of the villagers. After all, cooking at home is not uncommon thing in Thailand. On the other hand, even if street food becomes the first thing when foreigners think about Thailand, it is not somethings you will find in every corners of Thailand. If you observe Thailand very closely, you will find street food is exist particularly in Bangkok and the rest of big cities. For small towns, you will find it easily in downtown area. It is hardly to find street food outside of urban areas. When you go to rural places, you will find almost everyone there are still cooking at their own homes. Actually, you will know what 'Thai common pleasure' is when food aroma burst out of each homes. :) Well, finally, I think almost all traditional Thai food recipes was born at home though. Even Thai royal cuisine was from a kind of home - the royal palaces. Then because of social and economic changes which affected on Thai people's lifestyle, home-born-and-bred Thai food was brought from its birthplace to the footpaths, row houses, food courts and shopping malls for catering Thai salarymen and workers whose live in modern big cities. Meanwhile, relatively modern Thai recipes such as fried buttery toast, decorated colourful fried ice cream, snacks or something like that were born by capitalistic causes as well as the same kind of foods on another parts of the globe. For Thai recipes with Chinese-influences, of course, several Chinese recipes were born at home and the rest of them were natural-born street foods. By the way, I'm sure you are too familiar with Chinese culture to get the wrong answer on Chinese street food development. I think when we considering on booming of Chinese street food, we might thinking about its capitalistic causes. We might not thinking about the tropical climate of Southern China (which typical Chinese food in Thailand came from - mostly Guangdong and Hainan) or temperature instability in Chinese house. :) In conclusion, the street food boom in Thailand, in my opinion, is not big different from the rest of the world.
