Brings tears to my eyes. As it is Kedar is one of the truly divine raags - as though like Shiva himself. And then he starts singing like a man possessed. The laya he has chosen is apt. The bandish is a well known one, and matches with the medium laya he has elected to sing it in. The total effect is devastatingly beautiful. Words cannot express the sublimity adequately.

When one is able to connect his mind and spirit to their internal cosmic waves, feel it and be one with it, only then one can create something like this. It is God singing through him showing how beautiful things can be. Mukul ji is in the zone and you just get tuned in the moment you hear the first note. I am trying hard, but it is difficult to express how blissful his renditions are. Listening to him is like a spiritual journey.

His biography says that he also trained under the redoubtable K G Ginde of Agra Gharana and no less. But this rendering is as remote from the Agra style as earth is from moon.

@@charunerkar7768 ahh! very sad to hear that, it is very recent! When I heard her for the first time I thought immediately that if I had her as my guru I would have been on a very different journey! I even searched for her and could only find a few articles where the journalist has interviewed her! I read about her and I could see through her singing and appearance how simple and deep she was! She has once said in an interview that if you want to learn classical you have to be a good person first! I strongly believe that many people master the technical aspect of the ICM but what sets a great artist apart is his immersion and that is only possible when the person has a very very pure mind! I think she could sing that well because of this very reason!
