Pt. Narayanrao Bodas with Pt. Kedar Bodas: Raag Desh Malhar

Pt. Narayanrao Bodas began the second set of the Secret Masters Sessions 2 with the grand Raag Desh Malhar. He was supported on vocals by his son Pt. Kedar Bodas, on tabla by Dattatray Bhave and Sandeep Mishra on sarangi. Tanpura accompaniment was by Swaroop Kumar and Vishvesh Sardeshpande.

Kedar Bodas is the son of Narayanrao Bodas ( don't be misled by Kedar's flowing beard!!) Veena Sahasrabuddhe was Pt Kashinath's sister

A bit of correction, Narayanrao Bodas and Kashinath Bodas are cousins.Tthey are sons of the brothers Lakshman Bodas And Shankar Bodas respectively, disciples of Vishnu Digambar Paluskar.
