Nat Bhairab was not created by RS. Sorry....RS created minor stuff like Rangeshwari, Parameshwari etc, musical modes that will not be touched by supreme players like NB or AAK or VK. This nonsense on KZbin must stop...very soon we'll hear why Nat Bhairab also Bhairab was created by RS.

Dr. Hazra exactly why this aggression? Now coming to the point of why Ustad Amir Khan would sing Nat Bhairav. This is not a lone example of a maestro singing a raag created by another. You must have heard of Raag Bairagi, which was created by Pandit Ravi Shankar in 1949 - 50. How many maestros have you heard play or sing that raag? I for one have heard an LP by Ustad Munawwar Ali Khan. Then what about Tilak Shyam, and Parameshwari, and Gangeshwari? There are so many examples. Nat Bhairav was undoubtedly created by Panditji, if you have any doubts check with stalwarts of Maihar Gharana, you will get your answers.
