Thank you so much for this. Panditji projects the grandeur and simple elegance of the Gwalior Gharana--the Gangotri of all gharana-s. His singing is so accessible and simultaneously so profound and mysterious. The taan-s are so pure. Only the true master can resist the temptation to show off during Taanakriya and preserve the Raaga-bhaav and the central Rasa. Panditji differntiates Gaud Malhar form all other Malhars superbly. This is 15 minutes of musical and spiritual bliss. Thank you!!!

This bandish was sung by my father Late Rajarambuwa Paradkar, who was also trained by Pt. Mirashibuwa. I find jumbling of the words while adjusting the Antara by Pt. Yashwantbuwa. The same bandish in same raga in Ektal drut, which carried lot of balanced singing. However, the Gaud Malhar as such should only be sung by the perfectly trained Gwalior singer. None other has good singing of this raga, other than Gwalior trained.

On listening it, I wrote Bandish as follows: लाडी लाडी सी झूले लाडी से लाड करे लालन सों गरजत बरसत बैयाँ परत गरवा लागत। मोतिन के हरवा डारत गर बिज प्यारे कुचन के हुमाँर, कर बहार, कर श्रंगार डारत है जो बन को देखत मन में डर।। Is shabda noted down correct?
