Tuff is part of one of the last great generations, the world is screwed when these older people are gone. Just in my 40 years it has changed so much. These kids today don't know what work actually is.

Truly one of my heros and several of my friends as well. I think alot of people have the wrong idea about his attitude and they take it for arrogance and cockiness. I enjoyed the interview you got kinda personal twards the end and pissed him off. I'm glad this interview exists so future generations can truly hear the stories for Tuff.

It's always good to hear from The Legends themselves, so you can hear things right from the horses mouth so to speak. The waters are ALWAYS muddied by Hollywood & book authors & after awhile, you don't know fact from fiction, so it's great to hear Tuff tell his truth to Jack 💪 They'll be talkin bout Lane & Tuff in the rodeo world for the next hundred years 😉

I love this pod cast… #1 funny story for you Jack, after high school, Andy (Scruffy) Hoffman, decides he wants to ride Bulls. He does, did it badly for a year or so, then a bull head butts him, he ends up with Bells Palsy, but he woke up not knowing he had Bells Palsy, Mike Barron (my husband) and Karey Carter, convince him the injury will never heal and he was named for life. He healed fine and decided team roping was a better sport. He has won a truck and several trailers.. #2 you, Jack, was a pretty boy in high school.🤣🤣

I to met Larry Mahan and what Tuff said about him comes home to me loud & clear. Larry just bought a burger from the 4-H concession stand at the Cripple Creek Rodes, (I cooked the burger) we were watching the muttin bustin and a kid did good. Larry looked at me and said, "he just ruined his life".

To hear Richard Neil (Tuff) Hedaman speak about bull riding... I now understand that desire to ride a stear/bull ... for the longest time 21/2years , I just didn't comprehend why my youngest son wanted to do it... It took seeing his best friend goarded by a shithead of a two yr old bull (broke his jaw in two places and spidered his skull, and broke 4 ribs, hooked his inner thigh and ripped it open 25 inches,THAT was my son's wake up call to gratuitously walk away...MOMA didn't have to convince him...He saw it first hand for his self..... Even though we do different things , (me being a farrier) I completely understand why we do what we do !!!! And believe me - I LOVE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN A HORSE / DONKEY S LIFE....AND NO - NOT ALL OF THEM are submissive/or we'll trained...I've got my own injury's..But I still keep going.,LOVE MY JOB ( HORSES/DONKEY S)

That's what I like about Bill Calaperi , he would entice his players to go on to the NBA after 1 year if they were good enough , because what's the point of that education, to make a living, make money, so if you can go to the NBA right now and get paid then why get a degree that you would never make as much money with. It just makes no sense to waste that time, u can always go back and get your degree if you want it.

This interview sucked I thought. Jack and producer should have done better just let Tuff tell his life story not try to pry stuff out of him that he didn't want to talk about whether it was personal, his friendship and rodeo,or give examples that didn't seem he wanted to talk about. Much respect to Tuff and his career.
