Hi YT Friends, Today, we are going to be doing some budget friendly dividing and transplanting in our new perennial and evergreen garden. We will be planting and dividing some Proven Winners Amazing Daisies, Homestead Verbena, mystic spires salvia, Lantana Irene, Blue Point Juniper and a couple of Morning Light Maiden Ornamental Grasses. To do this, we need to move around and transplant some existing plants and bulbs! I still have a lot of seedlings in my greenhouse, but will do those another time! If you haven't seen the previous video, be sure to check it out here! It is all about what we did to prep this bed for our new perennials, including drip irrigation, amending clay soils and more! I hope you will leave comments...I love your feedback! Stay Tuned for the Final Reveal and Front Yard Garden Tour coming very soon! Thanks for joining me and I hope you found this video helpful! If so, don't forget to like, subscribe and share! ~ Happy Gardening! Dawn

New viewer and loved all the plantings and dividing... but would love to see a street view of the entire home to get a feel for the whole space. I love brick and stone homes. Saw a snippet at 18:37 which peaked my curiosity .

Looks beautiful ❤. Love your videos. Question….you said your salvias are a few years old. Do you keep them small or do you let them grow a couple feet tall and wide? They get so woody and grow a little crazy and I don’t think I like that look as much as I thought I would but they look pretty good when they’re smaller.

Hi Carolyn! Thank you so much! Every salvia is different, so I am not sure if you are talking about the Henry Duelberg or a different variety?! I agree with you and don't like it when they get woody! My Duelberg got woody on me, but it had fresh little babies adjacent to the woody stems, so in early spring, I dug up the entire plant, cut off the babies and threw out the woody part. Replanted the new babies and they didn't skip a beat. I hope that helps for whatever variety you are dealing with!

Hello Alandra, Yes, at times I do! Right now, I do not. I know it's a frustrating thing to wake up to flowerless flowers!

I think rollie pollies are a good bug. They eat dead stuff.
@shadedfromreality
@shadedfromreality Ай бұрын
Hello @missjunique719, Yes, they can be good in small amounts snd they do eat decaying matter! However, when you have armies of them, like I do, there isn't enough decaying matter and will and DO go after the live plants...they have to eat! When they start showing up on the stems and leaves of your heathy plants, there is a problem!
