No, it isn't. You can check exactly whether the phone you are getting is clone or original. The first thing you do is buy the phone with the box and make sure that the IMEI written on the box matches the IMEI of the Phone. Then you should go to the website to verify this Imei the model you bought is the same as it is or showing another device.

@@X4HIL it is not that difficult to make a fake sticker, print the cloned IMEIs on it, and paste it on the box. There is no fool proof way to check this thing - your best bet is to get a non-PTA phone and get it approved yourself.

CPID is also being caught by PTA. So it's better to purchase either NON PTA or Official PTA. After CPID phone is caught by PTA, it's IMEI is blocked and you can no longer make it officially approved by PTA as by applying CPID patch, the original IMEI is wiped out and you can't restore it as you don't know it😂.

I was using a box pack phone of samsung PTA approved with warranty after around 6 months PTA blocked without any indication/warning. And Samsung didn't claim. Now I understand there is no issue. Use kit spend less and enjoy. Until PTA comes up with a great stance. They need to take action because everyone can't pay 40k tax for just calling...
