I'm from Ukraine and in early 00s I was obsessed with nu-metal. It was "after Napster" era, and we had a russian forum about rapcore/nu-metal back than where we shared mp3s of rare bands wich we tried to find out around the web. I digged for Asian bands, and one day I found LMF. It took A WEEK to download their album from EMule. To be honest I didn't understand anything in Cantonese, and music was a bit mediocre to me, but I've listened to it for a few times because it took much time to download it 😂

This song is about how Hong Kong’s future, democracy, and freedom has been destroyed by the PRC (or what people call China). So just to put it short, the HK govt passed a law (with almost no public consultation) that restricts the freedom of speech (and more) of Hong Kongers, so people are using this song to ask each other to keep the rage and awareness.

Name of the song is called " Hold tight our middle finger" , "middle finger" in Hong Kong language is same pronunciation as "aim" or "goal". So the song is about hold tight to our goal for freedom, democracy and justice.

@@predator0424 I'm not a fan of the genre for the last decade, but here few good bands: Jinjer, Space of Variations, BOJEVILLA, Morphine Suffering. And some from early 2000 - TOL, Skinhate.
