Thanks, Tom! It was hard on our aging bodies but I'm glad we ventured out. The toughest part of the trip was the first two miles of Downey Creek trail from the Bachelor Creek junction. The blowdowns were quite extensive requiring whole body workout.

Wow!! Looks like an amazing trip, and the rain and hail looked misrable. Glad you all made it back safely! The slidling looked like much more then I could safely do 😅. Great review!

Crazy how much less snow you encountered on your trip than what Jason Griffith and I encountered in late July last year. Check out his TR in Cascade Climbers. See “Ptarmithumb Traverse.” Your shots of the blow down on your exit gave me PTSD.
