Hello Jay/E2 Team - Thanks for this video, very helpful. I am a Tamil speaker and have given PTE for the 3rd time, but failed to get 50 in speaking (my target is 50+ for partner skills). I am consistently getting low scores in Oral Fluency (20's) & Pronunciation (25's), in spite of improving my english/fluency. I am getting 65+ in various practice tests, but not in the exam. Any insights on this would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Jay for the pronounciation classes for South Indian language speakers. I think most of the dravidian and non dravidian speakers struggle with the pronounciation of letter 'L', we tend to pronounce something wierd when compared to native speakers because of mother tongue influence. Would be great if you can do one pronounciation lesson on " L "

Hello Jay, you're just splendid. You must have done a lot of research, as to find the flaws that occur in Tamilians. You almost gave solutions to most of the mispronunciations. Was really helpful! My fullest gratitude!

Jay, I think that you got it all wrong about most of the consonant sounds in the Dravidian languages. Our languages have most of the consonant sounds that are in English except for few like 'Z', 'ng', etc. In my perspective, its just that in our language, the consonant sounds are pronounced with much ease(may be lazily) with out any stress and intonation. For example: 'p' in Tamil or Telugu is not aspirated at all as 'p' is English; its pronounced as 'p' with a like schwa sound without air being pushed out of the mouth along with 'p' ( 'paa' not 'ppaahh'). I hope I'm able to convey it correctly. Its the same with other consonants 'd', 't', 'th'. I'm not trying to find faults with the video but I think that the consonants part of this video might sound irrelevant to South Indians and they can't relate to what you are trying to teach. Just letting you know that I'm a great fan of your teachings.
