Semi-pro early game tip: tame easy-to-tame Dinos as scapegoats for when you get attacked by something you can't outrun. Even a moschops or dilo can usually stall an aggressive Dino for at least a few seconds while you get a head start running. Also, I keep spikes on my hotbar that I can throw down and kite attackers into when I'm on the go

Like, here is an example if anybody is reading this... Maybe when she was somewhere in-between lvl 35-40 we got into a fight with an alpha raptor, and surprisingly the raptor left her alone when she was at half health, and even then she has killed around 4 alpha's only sustaining minimal damage

The Parasaur is the first dino most get that you can fire from the back of too. makes that bow you get at low level remarkably effective, also allows you to kite well while tranq arrow'ing dinos

1:59 In PvE situations, I'd actually say that ANY pack of animals is a good option. Have your main one with whatever combination of stats you need, and level up the other ones exclusively in melee. Even if they're only Parasaurs, it's gonna save your hide and improve things. Particularly if you're not too picky about how many of them make it home. That's clearly more for early game, and I don't know how it works in PvP situations, but I guarantee you that 5 or 10 Parasaurs will serve you well at this stage.

Honestly the mindblowing thing about dying in ark is dying is an exploitable mechanic that can be used to make some tasks 10x easier. For example, stealing wyvern eggs then dying and respawning at a nearby sleeping bag loses the agro from wyverns and only costs a sleeping bag and couple parachutes/grappling hooks to get easy wyvern eggs and doesn't risk tames.

I play on pvp servers and these are how my stats usually are upgraded. Of course i probably missed some things but these are the main things i tend to focus on when i play on pvp server Health: 250 - 300 Weight: 300 Stamina: 150 Speed: 180% Just thought i would post it if anyone new to pvp needed a push (If there is something that should be changed here then kindly respond to my comment :D)

Good tip: u can outrun almost anything with 132% movement speed this should be first priority. Advanced tip: learn what node runs are u can get lvl 70 easy on island in 20 min.

I survived on the beach on the island for almost 2 months before. I found a spot that almost nobody ever sees unless they are flying. I play solo so it takes forever to get supplies. Silica pearls is extremely hard to get. I tried trading with the alpha but they don’t like me. I was going to give 500 metal for 250 silica pearls but they didn’t want to speak to me.

Ceirnan, I wish you were around 2 weeks ago before I deleted Ark. I built a nice metal base and could not get the pearls for turrets. I eventually got raided by alpha. The best things the alpha got from me was mastercraft flak which was gifted to me by a really nice group. My lvl 90 Rex and lvl 160 wyvern. They are smart to. They found my base fast. I was hidden in the forest so I am not sure how they found me. I deleted ark for Red Dead Redemption. Hopefully their is less trolling on Red Dead Online.

What I like to do is if I'm being chased by a creature like a raptor I trick them into attacking a trike or another strong herbivore so that they fight then you just hope the herbivore wins

I have a tip for anyone since I've seen people not do this at level 80. Always make a goal or multiple goals per day. For example your low on three resources. Spend a day farming those resources. Having a goal i.e. plan for the day will help a lot. Running around with no point or reason is deadly. Not only are dinos out there but other survivors as well. Also stay in running distance from your base. So as your movement speed and stamina levels your distance on foot or on a dino can increase without that you will die

I need some help on how to make Ark less scary I have Autism and ADHD and theres a long story so i wont explain why im so scared But ever since ive been horrified of alot of solo alone games (Ark, Horizen, Subnautica, Metro Exodus, and Fallout to name a few) and even though im in the level sixties and have alot of dinos, i want to start taming bigger things like Carnos And sarcos, i am PERFECTLY capable in easily taking them down, maybe even a rex if i strategize enough, but my mind is just too scared, so im essentially a god tier beach bob (i play singleplayer). Torpor. Torpor is the important thing. If in new server I can’t win the enemy cause they are stronger and pro than me with their armor then I just club them then kill and their their armor ;) I attack pros a lot I keep organic poly on me and club. Knock out pros kill them with organic poly and take their great gear without damaging it. That’s easy harvest. And easy to get on feet. Make mortars under the bushes or in the beach under water near rocks hide the gears there and so on. :) first thing you do get club and organic poly :) and work on level with notes get ptera and rock from there ;)

I miss oxygen giving you great swim speed. Originally Oxygen gave about the equivalent of 6% movement speed (per point spent) while swimming. used to pump O2 and movement speed both crazy high, and could just run & swim across the map naked, punching rex's and sharks in the butt as I blur past. Taming mosa's in just primitive hide with a crossbow and a chowder. good fun. And pvp? as long as I never ran directly towards or away from someone, their chances of hitting me with ranged was pretty bad.

An easy way to level up your dinos, and I'm sure others have done it, but go find an alpha raptor, wait until it aggros onto and kills another dino, which doesn't take long. Shoot it with your rifle until it's almost dead and then finish it off with your tame. Did that with my low level argy and got 22 stat points. Second time I got 5 points.
