Outstanding service as usual Dr. Jefferson. This patient appeared hesitant, but he's never had anyone show kindness to his feet. A lot of people are ashamed of their feet, which is why they may neglect to see a podiatrist. I'm pleased you were able to assist him to get his feet healthy!

As others have mentioned, he did seem a bit more cheerful after everything was finished. Sometime people who are uncomfortable act grumpy. Dr. J., you are always positive and cheerful and respectful of peoples' moods and preferences. Plus you are a fantastic Dr.!!

Hi and Good Afternoon Dr J I hope that you are well.i have seen this type of thing in pre nursing school and it looks quite nasty. I have two fungal nails and apply a lacquer to mine. It has a long way to go yet but will be getting the shoe and sock spray as I don’t want it on any other toes as so far they are clear I feel sorry for those people who do not have their toenails cut regularly as their feet are the first point of contact.minhave always been meticulous about my finger nail and toe nails also the skin around my feet and apply the cream in the pot at night with a diabetic sock on, as this is quite loose and won’t dig into the skin. The podiatrist that cut my nails told me that the pulses in my feet were good for a 70;yr old lady Much love and respect no in Uk x

In shower scrub with washcloth. Dry firmly with terrycolth towel. Making a point to dry in between toes.Form of exfoliation. Just old mommy advice.

I have a question Dr. Jefferson. Should you wait if a client is taking Chemo on doing a pedicure? This clients goes on Wednesday and she likes to have pedicure on Saturday? Can you help me please on this? Thank you for any information you can give?

I hope he answers you, but in the meantime, anything pleasurable is good. As long as you avoid any breaking of the skin it should be fine. Usually a dose of intravenous steroids is given to assist the body to in holding the chemo. This lasts for 2to 3 days and is often the best wellness of the patient during the chemo cycle.
