At the time of the indiegogo campaign I was on a PTH high. Having discovered scurrilous only very recently after finding the band through Fortress hits, I used their albums like textbooks to growing as a guitar player; learning scurrilous from start to finish, as well as a handful of fortress tracks. Learning all the tracks was so fun and made me such a better player that it was no question I would contribute to the next album. The rest is history. I learned Volition front to back as well, saw the band twice live, and was fortunate enough to speak to both Luke and Tim and totally nerd out. Now it's time for another full length. And I can't wait!

Please release all these episodes onto a blue ray disc and sell them. I want to watch it badly to see the album coming together especially with Chris Adler. I hope theres alot of footage of him. I feel you would sell alot more copies.

I remember your gig in Saint-Petersburg, Russia in July, 2011! I was there! Unfrotunately, Tim wasn't there, but Arif gave his can of beer, the gig was glorious, and I will cherish this memory till the end of my life. Thank you, guys! As a bass player myself, I can say that you have changed my life. Thank you.

Damn. I just got into this band within the last couple weeks and not only do I learn they started playing in this "The Dungeon" location just an hour walk from my house, but that the same location just reopened as "Bond ST event centre" and they just played there a few months ago. Unlucky. Born the same year as Calculated Use of Sound.

Out of all the bands and phases of music i have been to over the past 10 years, I always find myself coming back to listening to your music, from old to new. PTH's music has carried me and my friends through a shit ton of shit in life and has inspired our musical writing to the next level!

Love those clips of The Dungeon. I unironically miss that place so much, and we've never really had anything like it since. It was a dirty dive - it lived down to its name. But it was also a place where you could always go to catch local bands doing their thing. There was really no rules on talent or age for the performers. Pretty sure there was the occasional grade-schooler band those (crappy) Battle of the Bands shows they'd put on. It gave everybody a stage and a chance to perform in front of real people. I wish I had the time, money, and knowledge to open another venue like that (but maybe with stricter bartenders)

From Russia with love: I love you guys, i become a bass player because of Riff, thank you for all the your music. You are the truly part of my life, and I can't imagine the day, when I did not turned your album into my headphones. So just go on. Love you. P.S. Once I asked Rody to draw a tattoo sketch for me. But he didn't. So I take the Volition Tucan logo and place it on my hand. And now I have the same tattoo as he got. And once again: love you, don't stop. =*

Discovered you guys in 2010 and have loved PTH ever since. Couldn't make the show when you came to NZ last year due to work and location. That fucking sucks but I swear I'll be there if you make it back here again. Drums is my main thing but have just put my custom '90 RG550 back together and began the arduous task of working out your songs again. These vids are great to watch so thanks and much love to ya'll.

I think the main reason people thought y'all were scamming the indiegogo donators was because y'all already had studio albums under your belt. i wasn't able to donate any money to the campaign because I was unemployed at the time, but I bought the Volition physical copy as soon as it hit the shelves and fell in love with it. Out of your entire discography, Volition became my favorite album while Tilting Against Windmills became one of my favorite songs of all time. The album was released at a time where I'd recently came out as trans, and TAW felt a lot like a fight song for me. I first saw y'all in the Heretics & Killers music video on Much. I was only 12 when I saw it but i still remember the feeling of shivers crawling up my spine. PTH introduced me to guitar music unlike anything I'd ever heard before. Unlike a lot of other bands I grew up with whom I've grown to dislike due to my changing tastes, PTH has constantly remained a band I keep coming back to. Thank you for existing. Come to Saskatchewan!!!

There's no pleasing some people. You even laid out exactly why you needed that amount of money with an itemized list, and people still whined and complained and didn't believe you. I'm glad it all worked out in the end, though. Volition is solid, and Mist is one of my favourite Protest songs.
