Annoying that this council like many others have made it policy not to give official tours of the council building any more. Thank goodness for people like this guy, you get the impression he feels things have changed for the worse and so didn’t mind showing PttP around. Hope he ends up seeing this video and the positive comments people have been making about him.

Wow PTTP meets the original PTTP protester in Keir Hardie. Edinburgh university withdrew all the funding for this man’s education because he disagreed with the way our government ran the country, and still he carved out a career by the people and for the people. As a kid finding out he was from my area, I was very proud and inspired

What a diamond guy on reception! Serving the public with public service in a public building with great service, in public. For service sake, he deserves recognition for going way above and beyond the lackluster service we've come to expect. Honestly, I'm so stunned I can't get service my public words out in public right. It is. Keir Hardie is a founder member of the Labour Party and one of the most important figures in the history of British (and particularly Scottish) politics. Worth reading more about him, and I say that as someone who doesn't even support the Labour Party!
