God, I know frontman!Mitch is an amazing performer with how he controls his facial expression differently in every song... But this one just takes the cake for me. This is not an easy song to sing, it goes over 2 octaves not including the starting note. To hear a man reaching those top E’s and doing so so smoothly is phenomenal. The arrangement of this is absolutely stunning as well, gorgeous backing vocals, filled and layered them up at the right moments so the right bits were stripped back/fuller when they needed to be. They were super personable and endearing, but for me, it took me a bit out of the music more abruptly. It was kind of jarring. I'm one of those people who like to repeat listen, but they'd usually jump in with their, "Heyyyy!" before I could pause it and go back, so it was like a bit of a race to get there without being completely taken out of the moment. The comments from them and the sort of... update of it all was cool. I might have preferred it beforehand, to be honest, to introduce the video, if it was included. I understand why it wasn't though. The downside of this lack of collective outro is that we don't get that personal touch feeling, but the good part is that it does feel more professional. Our guys are all grown up. ~happy tears~

He doesn't have cancer, that was just a rumor that tabloid sights spread when he shaved his head 3. He does not do drugs (he does weed but I'm not counting that because it wouldn't affect his health or his appearance) 4. This cover gives me so much Avi vibes, especially when Matt is singing... Soooo emotional 😭😭Mitch's voice is so angelic and perfect for this song. His vocal range is incredible and so is Scott's. Kirstie's voice is always so calming and it makes me sad that she's so underrated. And Kevin... I mean... He does a big part of the harmony and he does perfectly.
