I cant tell if it is or isnt inspired or based on the melody from the early access and launch themes, but regardless, it definitely sounds like it aspires to the old soundtrack and reminds me of it. They made the right choice of artist to go all out for the 6th anniversary.

In every way I hope this lets more people find you and be indoctrinated. I have never even played Pubg, but I get the feeling if you were given a base melody of their OG theme to work from, I sort of envision you rubbing your hands together in front of your composing setup and then smash cut to this.
