Honestly I dont think head on is worth it, at least in Julien's case. It's either he wastes too much time in lockers when he could he working on a generator, and even if he does hit the killer, he isnt skilled enough at evading that the killer ends up catching him shortly after.

Can’t get better until you spend time working at it. Maybe right now it’s inefficient but everything worth doing takes time
