PUBG distance calculations. how to accurately shoot people a long way away.

If you are shooting at a 45 degree angle, like in this situation it is nearly 45 degrees, the distance is 1.4 meters per 100 meter box. So if you do 4 x 1.4 =5.6. (560 meters). Since the scope can only be zeroed to 500 or 600, start with 500, aim for the head and see where the first bullet hits. Likely you will at least land a body shot. If it's too low the. Bump up to 600 meters. Even with AL these calculations it still will not work because different guns have different bullet drops and the amount of bullet drop is not linear with distance. Even though you zeroed the scope it still may not be accurate. The point is, make an educated guess, take the shot and then adjust. The point

Nice and all, but I'll rather stay with ye'ol range finder and mildots.

yeah the range finder was great for 600m and under, and well i was doing this before the rangefinder, and after they took it out.

Returning player here. They ruined my mini & spotter/drone playstyle so.. mini & mortar it shall be, but getting distance right is a huge learning curve. Thnx for vid

Yes, elevation is a factor as well. Insaw one of wacky Jackie videos a long time ago and he showed if you are shooting up how to aim and if you are shooting down how to aim.
