Good I don’t understand this fixation with never innovating never improving the game and just keeping it the same. They have done nothing but constantly improved the game since the day it came out. The only people I found that complain are noobs anyways like the people that have been playing since season one but I still have like two KD, and all they do is sit in the grass all day and complain about, how expensive skins are and they want the old pub back they don’t represent PUBG and they never did

I've been saying that for years .... i stopped playig PubG probably 3-4 yeras ago (around when they added bots) and the one thing I miss in PubG is the skill-learning aspect to it. every game you improve and learn and get better and those who engage in hard fights get way better tan those who dont where as in DMZ or COD or whatever, that just *doesnt* happen. Team deathmach and lack of a good anticheat i feel was a massive part of the skill gap. You can cheat so easily and master it in tdm then go on br and be good. After it went free to play this problem just went out of control and now its just awful gameplay

PUBG felt like a somewhat realistic military battle royal experience, grey and gritty. Even though the same mechanics are still there, thank god, the direction of PUBG now is more of a progressive circus in terms of the visuals to it, it's more colorful now. So, it's more obvious that with zip-lines, blue-chips, and progressive skins that they wanted to take PUBG to a more of a Fortnite direction.

I can agree on the skill gap! I had a older phone which didn't allow me to play rush. I got a new phone and started playing more aggressive, I improved a lot and refined movement and ect... I met some friendly people with the same playstyle, we got addicted to the game lol... I also had some friends who didn't play rush and just played outside zone. I quit playing playing the game cuz of IRL things. I came back after a 2 years break, I now play now and then and I can really agree that people who play passive/safe don't improve. I still notice a huge skill difference between my old in-game friends who play safe. It's really just playstyle and different RPM and situational awareness.

I noticed my son surpassed me in fortnite skill because I drop strategic and like to play slow, gathering a choice load out to be ready for the final battle... My son drops into the busiest location possible, fights like a banshee, and ends up with 7 kills in first 2 mins.... By time the end comes a 1 v1 or so seems slow to him...pretty easy to win for him ... I used to smoke him easily, now I can't keep up with him

The gameplay is just like it has always been the only difference is the player base has improved. Pubg offers a even battle for the most part anyway. You drop naked you can choose hot or cold and learn the skills that you need pubg honestly is for players that want to learn mw and fortnight things of that nature teach you bad habits pubg makes you hone skills or just rage quit so not for the faint of heart I personally don't see the game dying I would hope not because the amount I have spent on weapons and x suits I will play against bots just to be in the game

Hey listen, PUBG on PC is not the same as Mobile. Never played it on PC and don’t care to. Don’t even have a PC tbh, and so that makes whatever one of these PC players has to say pretty much irrelevant. Personally, I’ve played since 2020 and literally have not missed one day. Yeah PUBG might have its ups and downs on both platforms, but that’s just how life is. There’s gonna be players leaving for whatever their reasons but there’s gonna be new players coming. Then there’s gonna be old players returning like he showed in the video. As long as it doesn’t start going woke and trying to push agendas or ideology or canceling my favorite streamers like COD tried, I’ll always love PUBG and I know there’s a lot of other players who feel the same. I love both games Mobile and Pc/Console but being honest being that I work the majority of my days I ended up slowly shifting away from pc console and investing more of my downtime on PUBGmobile. I tend to hotdrop MilBase pochinki GeorgeContainers etc. When Win the hotdrop I immediately jump in a car\buggy and hunt players down till I either get the dub or third partied by another squad. Who knows maybe a few years from now as technology evolves they might be able to crossplay and it’ll give the game the revival it so desperately needs

For pubgm pls dont release too many large maps at the same time without any extra content/event ex.Erangle,Miramar,Vikendi also it applied to small maps like Nusa,Karakin,Livik,Sanhok. There are 7 maps with 3 type gameplay like Solo,Duo and 4Squad so it mean there are 21 gameplay that available but there are not enough players to play with..and they should do something about the arena /other mode too

I want to agree that Miramar is in fact the most hated map of all time. When it came out they had to FORCE you to not be able to pick Erangel with the select random map. Me and my friends would auto leave Miramar every time it was picked and so would many others as the lobby player count dropped very quick whenever it was a Miramar because everyone wanted to reroll Erangel.

when he said that PUBG is like a ghost town now i think he was talking about the PC version, and that too, of a year or so ago. now i belive it's thriving again. PUBG mobile is very different. people play it on portable devices and they can play it anywhere, anytime, so the player base has been consistently high. you don't need a dedicated gaming PC set up and a dedicated time and place to play the game. i think that was one of the reasons PUBG PC lost a lot of players during its run. the amount of people with such PCs was miniscule in comparision to people with mobile phones. On ther mobiles people could play anywhere, anytime. one could log in and have a match or Arena while waiting for coffee, hence most mobile players had more or less the same skill levels. but when it came to PC, the 'bullies' as he call them or the ones who stream and make a living out of it could sit for hours and days on end and improve their skills. casual players started falling so far behind in their skill development that they began to be discouraged and left the game. so it did become an issue. my point being that PUBG PC and PUBG Mobile are very different worlds. You cannot react to a video on PUBG PC via the lenses of a PUBG mobile perspective. but i do believe he is mostly talking about old PUBG PC. i think right now PUBC PC is thriving again

Haven't been subscribed until recently. I've played almost every mainstream Battle Royale game, but my style of play hasn't changed. Every now and then I go back to either PUBGM or CODM, heavily played APEX Legends M, and now is invested on Bloodstrike, and checking on Warzone M. I never went into hotdrops, Ever. I play with survival in mind, ehich is the main goal of these games. I treat it as if I'm really playing for my actual survival. I may not be as "pro" as some streamers are, but in terms of survivability I am at least on par with them. For me PUBGM just needs to make certain optimization updates, people still play them, including me. It just needs to stay on par with the development of devices, while still looking into optimization. Sanhok's addtion is not killing the game. It was meant to cater to a different playstyle. Love it or hate it. Up to the player really. But one thing is for sure: PUBG IS FAR FROM BEING DEAD.

I've only ever played PUBG Mobile. But yeah, the principle is the same with Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok, the 3 main maps. There's a lot of tension when you're moving about the map and don't know when you could get shot. Obviously in the themed gameplay, it just changes everything if you get killed in a zone where you've got a respawn card, because you could jump anywhere after respawning, with a gun. Sanhok's small size (and the subsequent smaller maps) makes it more intense coz there's more of a chance you'll encounter enemies. I guess maybe that's why PUBG "died". It was never meant to be a fast game. Maybe maps like Nusa and Karakin could've been used for 8v8 TDM or something. Edit: I don't think Riggs understood what he meant about the game being slow, he actually like the fact that game had players on edge, it's what kept the game fresh until Sanhok was added. At least that's what I got from his statement. Maybe he has some delusions, but he's not wrong about the devs being gleefully ignorant, coz the game becomes bloated with more content and the gameplay sometimes suffers coz of that bloat of content. Especially with PUBG Mobile. I don't know about the PC version though. PUBG has never been more popular imo, and it will continue to be popular, thanks to the casuals and streamers that spend money.

pubg pc used to be dead af but now its picked back up because of the streamers, same thing happened to minecraft, game was dying them pewdiepie started playing it and revived it

Now that i think about it, PUBG the mobile version gives us the power to do something we couldnt in the older GTA games, Vice City specifically-enter ANY building you want and have shootouts there. The car mechanics are great (not with the buggy tho), it doesnt feel like an arcade and at this point it's more about chilling with my mates than ranking up. Payload is where all the fun is at if you ask me, most underrated PUNG mod ever and it should stay in the game forever. I feel like us old school players have a different level of appreciation for the game, we were using tank turrets backwards to shoot and make it go faster ffs 😂😂

17:25 yup, still on top three. But did you ever wondering, if the number are totally the same or higher than the old era? Just curious about how many either pubg or steam unique visitor in total nowadays compare to last 5 years. Because honestly, 9 out of 10 in south east asia 2000 born (i believe), are likely to play a mobile game rather than PC. Then, we are on the 80's/90's born, almost had no chance to breed another generations who had the same desire to play this or such an old DOTA 2 game. Now, i even oftenlly spend my time enjoying to watch Dota pro scene rather than to play it (since my friends or community went faded). Sorry if my english was awful! Cheers🎉

Over 5+ years played pubgm, other 5+years to come. Comparing pc and pubgm i Would imho say that pubgm is bit more intense and faster than pc. Today starts PMGC finals with 3million prizepool. Gonna Be so crazy fights, huhhuh.
