For those of you who are wondering "Man, with all the weapons out there, what should I use now? What's actually good? What weapon should I drop for another weapon?" This is the video to watch. It's a very long video, so for those of you who know who I am, know my work, and already trust my judgement, just skip to the end and look at the summary chart. M16 is REALLY good in long range if you use the full auto mod. It’s actually better than the m4 because it literally has no recoil and it also has faster bullet travel time

But m4 can work on all ranges so it's better to use m4 than M16, as it sucks in close range

4:53 - Not the case in the slightest. The game favors a playstyle of a 5.56 spray AR + a close range weapon (DBS/UMP45), occasionally an AKM. That's what you see everyone in the official tournaments use. Everyone is using the same thing. 10:39 - It still is the best weapon, regardless. Due to it staying the same it still allows the coverage of long ranges. The other buffed weapons can't replace the AKM unless they're one of the easy baby weapons (The 5.56 range). The fact that the M4 hasn't changed hasn't made it worse at all, it can still do what it does and the role that it fills cant be replicated by the other buffed guns, unless its an AUG/SCAR/G36/QBZ. `16:30 - The MP5K has been in need of a serious buff for years. One of the reasons why it hasn't been touched at all is because its a rare match exclusive. It is one of my favorite guns ever but it's just not worth picking up because its such a terrible weapon.

When you play famas keep enemies in middle or corridor fights and it has great recoil control i often use it at 200-300m

i really like the vector, but i guess i need to try more with the ump for close range. i just feel like the vector puts a lot of shots in in a very short time. i'm not the best player tho. nice insightful video m8 thx

UZI is trash right now. Thing is, most players have become so good at the game now that one of them can just laser a UZI guy even with an M4. Besides, UZI has the lowest damage of any SMG so for it to work, you gotta hit all bullets. Even then, sometimes, enemies don't get knocked, especially when they're wearing a level 3 Armor. The Vector has a damage (33 base damage) advantage here along with being the second fastest fire rate SMG in the game, so it's deadlier and more reliable than an UZI, that also takes forever to reload with any quickdraw or extended quickdraw

Thank you for this hadn’t played in a while and noticed guns behaving differently. One note please call it the m416 it’s not an M4 totally different weapons in IRL. IRL the 416 is probably the best assault rifle in the world

Even though you’re right it doesn’t matter. Everyone knows that he’s talking about the m416. And the m4 isn’t a totally different gun. The only difference is that the m416 is more reliable because of the gas piston operating system which was designed by the German company Heckler und Koch.

I really want to hear catfish answer this as well. Personally in arenas i consistently win with a ump but i consistently dominate with a vector. I think rating a submachine gun based on recoil & clip size makes zero sense. The closer you get to an enemy the less significant recoil and having a huge mag is, simple as that. Cqc guns should be judged strictly on fire-rate, ttk, hipfire, and in some cases damage. The Uzi barely beats the vector with fire rate and the vector has way more damage 24-31. Uzi is not better in cqc literally slower ttk. If you’re running an aug or m4 you don’t need a sidearm to scope in with you need something that dominates in someone’s face hipfire hence shotguns and the vector.
