It's interesting that you bring up Reptilicus. There was also a comic book version that, after the license was lost, changed its name to Reptisaurus after a couple of issues. That version is public domain too and I think it even got its own cheap CGI infested movie awhile back.

1:26 - Why would you think you sound ignorant knowing what Kai-ju stands for. If anything that makes you sound well informed and resourceful, because, too many content creators don't do research on the content they cover, nor do the research on the creators who create the content they cover.... So they mispronounce names and other words and don't give you half the information that would allow you to know about the subject they are covering when Google will tell you/would tell them everything you/they need to know. So thank you for this video, because it was very informative.

Thank you for your complimentary response. And while I spit in that effort to research to build upon what I have already known, I tend to be blown away by those whose statements and sources check out to the professorial level, I just wanted to stress my status as a relative layman, and want more understanding to be about my insight on what makes the coverage worthwhile. But as long as I have viewers like enjoying what I manage to create, I’ll keep at it. Thanks again.

Hmm. This brings up an interesting question. Some of these most people wouldn’t consider Kaiju. How big does a beast have to be to be a Kaiju?

I played it kind of loose, and felt safe in criteria where the monsters are larger than what’s normal for their respective species.
