Waller didn't know Peacemaker was with Annie though it happened by chance. So it was both the Police lied and connected him to all the Butterfly killings even the ones Waller couldn't know about. Waller still would frame him for Goff though.

I like the series, but I have to ask myself...WHERE THE FRICK IS The JUSTICE LEAGUE during this Alien invasion? Are you telling me that the fish don't speak to Arthur, Cyborg isn't picking up on any of this communication on any wave length? Batman already on high alert for this sort of thing right and nowhere insight(then again, we wouldn't see him)? Again, trying to conquer a planet being guarded by Superman? Sorry, I have to ask these questions because it's not like these people don't exist in this world.

Just a problem with stand alone world effecting stories in comics or comics media in general. Good for the tiny story, but bad for larger universe when involving huge possibly world ending events. Have to stretch and expand your suspension of disbelief to points that are at times too out of pocket, meaning they don't make sense beyond being just fiction. I mean, The first Suicide Squad is a huge offender. An evac of a city and no League members around? No Superhero's at all? Just saying. If that map of suspected Butterflies across the globe is any indication of how things are...why is Waller sitting on that and not involving the big Supes? It's already too big.

@@cjmk5923 1. Someone has noticed something is wrong...we are currently watching a show about it. It's on Argus's radar. Our team is killing them. 2. Multitudes of powered people in DC comics who actually have X-ray vision as a power...both criminal and hero, At some point someone is going to see something. 3. This isn't some 2 bit crime fighting, this isn't taking over a crime syndicate in Metropolis or Gotham....this is a World Domination plot where aliens are killing humans in a world with Superman and the Flash. Soul ripping swords, evil sorceresses running around...and um, yeah..speedsters can literally be anywhere in seconds... Once again, small scope stuff is fine...it just begins unraveling when doing large scale stuff. Comics have always asked us to turn on the blinders. But it's more in my face these days when over in the MCU, they had to actually take two minutes to explain why The Eternals didn't get involved when Thanos wiped out half of the planet. Because the audience is getting iffy when it comes to live action and connected (via planet earth) stories.

@@xerozeven No one knows about the World Domination Plot except Murn. Why would the Justice League just believe him and Waller of all people and even if they did how do you want them to stop this? They are against killing and the only way to actually stop it is make an entire race go extinct? It is quite simple the JL couldn't do what would need to be done to stop the Butterflies so getting them involved is pointless.

Murn is still sus. What Judomaster had to say is the last puzzle piece to unwind the real story. Also, the diary was probably a setup by Waller to indict Peacemaker to return him back to Belle Reve. Just her style. I think the queen butterfly isn't the real "villian" here, but the diary had the added effect of outing them. Now they're forced to move on Peacemaker by discrediting his invasion story and capturing/killing him. Then again, red herrings all around, go figure...
