Always and forever, thank you to Great Britain and the British people whose creativity, since the 1960s, has given the rest of the World hundreds of unique bands such as the Public Image Limited and music of unparalleled beauty, quirkiness and atmosphere. What would our lives have been without British bands? Thank you from Sicily.

Jerry Lee Lewis might disagree. Funny how John Lennon kissed his feet and most of the British Invasion imitated...yeah, every band emulates and copies the sounds before.

One of the best albums ive got in my collection. I think its PiLs masterpiece. Every song is perfect and the drums on this album are really the best ive ever heard

i agree, for me, the trilogy of (public image, metal box and flowers of romance) each had a focus on a different portion of the band...public image - guitars, metal box - keyboards and bass, flowers of romance - drums..absolutely brilliant...

Martin Atkins drumming is absolutely brilliant!!!

Always perceived this album as a concept, some dark medieval horror story, dungeons and all. Regarding "Under the House' how can one drummer do this? It sounds like 2 drummers drumming simultanously.

It is two drum tracks , when they play it live they use two drummers. That would be pretty gnarly if he could pull it off lmfaoo

Reputed to be inspired by a bummer acid trip of John's at the manor house they recorded the album. Folk law

John Lydon claims he saw a ghost in the basement of the house they recorded the album in and that's where the song came from. He was probably high at the time but it's still a good story.
