The long path of the arrow might be further but I always measure my distance back to the base of the tree. Not sure if that is where he got the 3 yards from or not. I have shot them at these extreme angles downward and I never liked doing it but sometimes you take what they give you.

@@tray22 if you watch the video of the hunt the deer looks like it's almost at the base of the tree and I agree I would not take that shot either but I'm not as good as a shot as yeetmissle
