Robert Devera Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte is doing well. Our first subway was just inaugurated and it will partially completed by 2022 and will be fully completed by 2025, this will connect 6 cities. And a rail train is currently being built to connect manila and clark, this will be finished before December 2019. And oh the elevated high way to Connect the harbour to the expressway was just 100% finish. And also the south expressway connection to north expressway is 80% finished. So yes Philippines is on the right track towards a progressive country. Mabuhay!

Update for Philippines 2019 railway project on going project. Metro Manila Subway, Makati City Subway, North South railway, Tutuban to Malolos all the way to Clark, LRT 1 South Extension to Bacoor Niog, to be started by next month.MRT 7, MRT 3 expansion and rehabilitation by Sumitomo, Mindanao Railway, if completed almost 2000km of railway will be construct all over the Philippines.

Indonesia active railway is now 12.000 km including long distance train, MRT, LRT, commuter, airport train, airport terminal train ...and projected will be 30.000 km in 2030. To build 8.000 km, It took 180 years since Dutch colonial times till today. While the Philippines current active railway track is just 88km ... mostly in manila.

Besides metro rail system in Jakarta, currently Indonesia builds some other train systems across Indonesia. Simply search Trans Java railway system, Trans Sumatera railway system, Trans Sulawesi train system, etc.

To add, Indonesia also constructs the first High speed railway system in Southeast Asia connecting Jakarta and Bandung. In the near future the medium speed railway connecting Jakarta and Surabaya. Some main airports across Indonesia also currently construct airport train system.

Indonesia has nice train systems for old and new. Even the refurbished trains from Japan look much better than the old commuter trains in the Philippines.
