The difference i see now, they turned alot of ppl into quitting the game, and also the ones left are just saying "im not donating anymore, only daily deals" just because ppl see how the devs care of their players. Honestly this game is one of the most f2p unfriendly games i've seen, like even compare to ROK u have to put so much effort in completing one full march and the devs just make it worse and worse.

Being able to get T5 within a year or two as a F2P is amazing assuming you’re in an alright alliance, honestly if you’re not scouting ahead for a jumper and joining in you’re probably a casual player anyway and playing long term probably wasn’t your idea in the first place.

@@Pasanpereraaa exactly, the casual noob player too cool to try hard is always the target. I honestly think some people just want a farm or city builder. These games are for a special breed. It reminds me of age of empires but the game never ends. I still enjoy my call of duty and metal slug awakening but I enjoy the build ups and watching it burn. You don’t have to spend money but the option is nice. Seeing people throw money around is what makes it fun and challenging. It is what gives the salty flavor to the tears. This is a game for gamers, this isn’t for some rando to pick it up over the weekend and have a blast. It takes months to grow and weeks to recover and years to master. Hands down I wish I had these games as a kid. Cross platform and no fanboy nonsense. Basic reading and math, and some decent Pve grinding content, for free. And if you enjoy the game and are having fun then you can even spend money. Personally, the range units and interchangeable active cooldown skills and pets are a great improvement over rok. Compared to any other game like this, cod and rok are the best I have played. People are still picking it up and learning, and to your point. Get in a good group and organize. If you can afford to migrate , then do it. The game seems like it wants you to keep migrating to newer servers to find new people and eventually it cost a lot of money. But the server wars every few months doesn’t kill the game if your alliance dominates the server. I’d be happy to play a newer and better game, but until then, this is the best. One thing I was disappointed in was resetting skills, it is just a random roll. Grinding aimlessly is pointless with too much rng, but that is what keeps you playing and people spending. It isn’t exactly pay to win but pay for only a chance to win. Which is why folks put so much effort into the event rewards, because they are invested. The free daily instant heals also leave little reason not to be out and about on the field fighting.

Hello MRSneaky. Brother, I completely agree with you. Greed is the main slogan at Farlight/Lilith Studios. I also have another concern that you didn’t mention. The home kingdom wait time in between KVK is completely ridiculous. Why the fuck do I have to wait 14 days after season ends with no new content. Why the fuck do I have to wait 7 days for the preview fase. There are very few fights during KVK and when it ends we have to wait for 1 month in Home Kingdom doing nothing? What a fucking joke.

My issue is season talents yes I know we can reset it once in so many days however I had it correct the first time but no longer required the 10% prestige no longer as I maxed my policy about a week and a half into season 3 . And way I made a mistake and now my mage is suffering I'm usually one of the strong mage people and now it feels I'm not the devs should embed a gem system so we can at least pay a couple hundred gems to fix this season talent crap instead of being stuck like this for 44 days it's already made me lose interest in the game just there alone

When rise of kingdom lost players, they reskin the game to grap as much money as possible. By the way all heroes you invested will be shadow nerfed for sure as they add new generation. You can't even progress with money, there so much you can spend. But zero fun.

Love it when the truth is being told. I'll add just a couple of my own observations of the same thing; 1. Remember when they really tried to fk us by making all flags rally points? Well the community uproar was so huge that they backstepped on that idea, but they honestly must think we are dense as fuk because they added bastions which is now essentially the flag you have to rally... Did the community get too tired to complain at this point? they just entirely side stepped our desire to not make rallying the focus of the game. 2. 3 season ago they acknoledged that elkriders did not recieve any applicable seasonal talents, they said they would fix it asap. What happened? Instead we played another 2 seasons without any applicable seasonal talent, and before anything new was added for elks they just scrapped seasonal talents completely. So its just as you said, they say stuff to appease us with no intention of actually doing it. It has become such a common theme that when they told us the elkriders would be fixed, i literally did not believe them and swapped factions. I knew if i waited it may never come, sadly my more optimistic friends waited it out and never saw it come.

The repairing I think is from a shadow change they did to how buildings work. They will be completed at the level 0 fortification (60k hp on tower) after completion it will gain hp based on your fortification level and repair itself from there.

Excuse my ignorance, I haven't read up on the fortification changes. If you have fortifications above 1 then are you able to start the next tower immediately after the HP reaches 60k HP? But then, the repair time from 60k HP to max HP prevents you from upgrading the tower to barrage?

Been playing actively since day 1 of the launch, but I still don't have any significant advantages-no T5, no fully-skilled heroes (except Indis), and no pet with good attributes. I get it-you need to spend at least $1,000 just to stay competitive, and keep spending to stay there. But for that kind of money, I could buy a f**in iPhone. Back In the Dark Ages, game developers like this have been getting burned at the stake!

How are archers supposed to counter mages when you can't reach them in big fights. They took away long range for archers, but they allow mages to keep their extra 15% skill damage with these mastery skills. They made archers USELESS, i used to get 80k merits per march but now i can only get 30k merits.

the star levelling system for heroes is now truly f*ked lol it automatically puts all the required amount, starting from your highest stars, effectively forcing you to click the 'minus' button multiple times in order to do it the old way and save stars by using a only few, so as to increase the number of double-stars. no idea why they had to make these worthless changes instead of focusing on the major issues reported time and again

This game started as a very different game than RoK with a way more flexible grouping model and a troop cycle that included very little troop death and resource free, speed up free model. These differences have been eroded and it is starting to feel like a reskin. I feel baited and switched and I've spend time and money. To add to that the fairness of the transition to being Married to your Kingdom players is just so pitifully negligent. The first alliances got many season of 5000k gem migrations and then to top it off got a huge migration cap for their first new migration and even huge additional boost for alliance size during that period. This reflects the matching system quality for these over a month long "kvk" matches in RoK. It feels like matching has never been about fairness. With CoD these handouts to the first gen kingdoms shows that same attitude in CoD. Kingdoms can't depend on the experience of early kingdoms to plan. Honestly just the introduction of ridged kingdoms and expensive migration = betrayal for me. I am lucky I am in a good one and feel so sorry for players now find themselves into inactive, disorganized, rogue ridden or factionalized kingdoms.

Amazing video covering a few of the current issues with the game (yet we all know there is way more [e.g: 6* hero bug, wilderburg 5% rss bonus from nodes not working since the patch got released, UI dissapearing when clicking on the tutorial menu, pet exchange coin reduction, alliance cap reduction, migration costing 365 USD...]) I do wanna add something abou auto-gather: This has been released on the newer servers & since the patch it's also around on all servers - but it's not what you would think. Auto-gather simply translates in when you send out your march to clear a node, but that march doesn't have the required size to clear that node that it will return to your city & be sent out again automatically to clear that node until it's done. It won't sent out your march to clear nearby nodes if you still have more capacity left, but rather it's a "good" as a solution to the still re-occuring problem of people not clearing their nodes. It might not seem like much but it's quite a nice QOL improvement (same with the fort-search feature). Sadly, most of their "good" changes are in vain due to all the bad shit that piles up with every new update getting added intoducing atleast like one more payed mechanic lol

It's crazy to see how hard the devs had made a u-turn with this game, been playing for about a year and a half and when I first started the devs seemed like the truly cared and were actually adding good changes and had great communication with the community and listening. Now all of they sudden they are doing things that nobody wants or even asked for, they are not implementing the suggestions of the players. Now they reduced the amount of coins and gems you get from purchasing from the gem/coin market. It's actually insane. They bring in the sculpture trade that everyone's been asking for finally but make it absolutely support nobody other than like the 10-15 strongest players in the game because having to trade THIRYTY LEGENDARY sculptures just to get ONE in return is absolutely absurd.

Creative developers need to have reliable Quality Assurance , Developer Operations , and Documentation departments. There needs to be automated testing that includes regression tests so that every release is tested and verified to show that devs have not pulled bugs from the repository from buggy branches of code It's clear that Lilith is using a "streamlined model" that uses player as QA / Testers and creators as docs department. This really does not work! Honestly it creates hostility with the company and hugely lowers the quality of life and productivity for the devs. I've been a dev, qa and other roles.

Redevelopment of alliance resource economics compared to RoK is a huge plus for CoD and is a difference that should be recognized. The alliance does not need to grapple with restocking competing with credits to build alliance buildings. It also improves the map because the effect of the passive and useless for game mechanics "alliance resource nodes" are spread over all of the land, another win for the devs. Finally they have prevented the fortress spamming that has made kvks ridiculous in RoK so that aspect has not crept over to CoD yet. Keep an eye out on this one!

Sneaks, a couple of things here, You say Marksmen instead of Mages when talking about Mag's legion buffs. Also ... it's only towers hitting cities across the barrier, the rest is because roads and buildings are now stronger but the devs decided that rather than put them at the immediate top level strength they have that repair notice which is just really confusing. The rest of the stuff is just nuts ... so many bugs and we genuinely can see nearly nothing of the touted new features.

the question is - with the resources you purchase from the exchange store....what is priority of use of rss when spending on your account? For example if I bought 10m of each rss on my farm account.... Would my farm account prioritise spending the rss that I bought from exchange store first or would it spend what I have farmed first? The auto gathering works FYI. It is not supposed to find new nodes for you. It's only for new/low power players that don't have enough troops to send to a node. So if you send like 1k workhorses to a node it'll keep going back and forth to that same node until it's done. Boneless everything else you mentioned is spot on and vs. Good vid

I manage in some degree the territory of my alliance and yerterday i panic seeing we finish a tower and the towers instantly go to repair mode, i was like wtf just happend ? I ask in Discord and they change how the fortify alliance tech work, i was like: Don't you think this change was important enough to be in the patch notes ? I swear they shadow drop changes every patch makes me insane, is not that difficult i think Is also really sad you almost have 2 years playing and only have 1 legendary hero awaken, as a middle spender, imagine a full f2p player, even in RoK is well know you can awaken 1 hero a year as a f2p, is still insane, but everybody know in one year if you grind a lot, you can awake 1 hero a year, low and middle spender for sure can awake even more than that

I can understand your anger, and I also think this patch came with a lot of bugs. However, after hearing your complaint, I feel most of them are not really on point: 1) Bastions attacking across unopened regions. Seems many have commented that the reason they are repairing is they changed how fortification works, not because they attacked each other; 2) You have only awakened a single legendary hero after playing for 2 years. This is very frustrating for you which I can understand but it just shows that this game is not very f2p friendly. But we knew this a long time ago, it's not like the devs changed how you get legendary tokens in this patch. Overall the pace of getting legendary tokens have not changed. So not sure why the complaint all of a sudden. 3) Mag/Zay worked on mages even when they are designed as marksmen hero. You just had a few videos prior testing Mag on mages and are pretty excited about the new discovery like other KZbinrs, I don't understand why all of a sudden you disliked this so much. Almost every hero's rage/1st skill work on other legion type so people can explore different types of combination and came up with interesting ways to play. For example, All archer rage skill works on Cavs, that's how some people able to create 5 cav marches. It feels more to me you are complaining about mage players getting buffed, and archer players feels unfair? 4) Exchange House RSS rule change. I didn't understand this change either, maybe they were changing it to prevent certain types of exploit, but I don't think this is a very big deal. Even more I don't think this benefit them in terms their revenue. By limiting transfers, I would assume less people would buy tokens to buy RSS from Exchange House, so it will be less money for the devs? 5) The new event seems out already, it may just be it is not designed to be available the minute the update is complete. 6) Auto-gather seem to be working as intended. It is meant to finish the node if you didn't send enough troops, not meant to go to new node once the current one finishes. Overall, I wouldn't give dev credit for this patch because a lot of bugs did came with this patch (like the hero 6* etc.), but what you complained in this video seems to be more of letting out your own frustration on something else as opposed to this patch, because the complaints are either not very on point or are not related to this patch at all. I hope you can set aside your negative emotions and keep bringing us the quality contents you've always brought to the community.

-With the Heroes not maxed yet even you played 2 years is not a problem in my opinion. In RoK F2P have maxed heroes after 2-3 years. But i would also like to have more tokens. -The Bastion does work if the pass opens. But before it does not. In Our Season we build it and they dont attack because the pass was not captured. -And i think the problem with the heroes who not designed for their role is fine for me. It basically a low spender hero they can heavily invest in to keep up because they can use them also in other marches. But if it get to much than its a different thing. So i think the video overall was not on point here because it just shows one side of the medal.

I think this video is discrediting all the good changes and only focusing on the negatives. (Some aren't even serious) Sneaky knows how to get his views, and his attitude is definitely on the negative side because he got kicked out from sponsorship.😅 There's a difference between constructive negativity versus a pure vent.

It's obvious he's right though. If you spend a bit of time in the official discord, it's obvious, over the past months the discussions have switched from people talking about how to play the game better, to people non stop complaining about what the devs are doing. It's noticeable in every alliance, every group of friends, people are quitting, people are stopping to spend, devs are killing their game with greedyness. YES, it's not ONLY negative things that are being done to the game, but for every 0.10 step forward, devs to 3 steps backwards, it's getting worse and worse every time. Every update, every week you're gonna find something to be mad at abotu what they're doing with the game.
