While searching the train route in DB app..you may filter the selection to only Regional train..then you’ll see only options for regional train where 9 Euro ticket is valid..although you might need to change 2-3 trains..

DB for regional train and there are separate apps for each region for local transport..for Frankfurt it is RMV..

Wenn Sie im August planen, wäre 9 EUR auch nutzlich, wenn Sie innerhalb Deutschland (nur mit Regional Bahn) reisen möchten..sonst lohnt es sich auch, wenn Sie Bahnkarte 25, 50 kaufen..aber es hängt davon ab, wie lange sind Sie hier im Deutschland..
