Hi Rajeev this was an awesome video. I use the watertaxi as my main source of transit on a daily basis Monday to Friday, 6am sailing and 3:30pm sailing. The staff and boat crew of the Watertaxi service are sooo nice and helpful. The watertaxi is a SAFE AND RELIABLE source of transport in Trinidad. And daily i thank the Lord for this service 🙏🏾

Another great and informative video about using the public transport in Trinidad and Tobago 🙂 The water taxi is my favourite way of travelling between San Fernando and Port of Spain. I find it calming and relaxing, and the bonus is there is no traffic 😃

Great option for mass transit. It would be nice if it were developed to become a reliable and accepted means of transport. Hourly both ways, 7 days per week with additional stops i.e. couva, point fortin etc., coordinated with the bus system and allowing for safe and plentiful parking of automobiles.
@TrinbagoVibes5 ай бұрын
Yeah, That would have been ideal

Once there is operation on the weekend - mainly for tourists and, I would assume, public officials - to sail into town, then it may be a full alternative to individual transport. From what I have seen, the traffic jams on the highways between both cities are always insanely long. 8:36 Wait, there is still a mask mandate put in place to enter the market? That can't be right... 😬
@TrinbagoVibesКүн бұрын
Nope that’s an old sign that they forgot to take down, a few places have those signs still up but it’s not enforced …and unfortunately they don’t work on the weekend

I envisioned probably like everyone else that a mega highway sea bridge structure could be built with connecting roads to couva, chase village and sando. Sadly the feasibility of that kinda project is very unfeasible...

I know this has nothing to do with me but I suggested it in a previous video so I'm gonna take responsibility for this one. I take this everyday to work, usually sleep through the entire ride. So the boarding in POS is strict because grown middle aged people when left to their own devices they'll literally rush and push. It's actually embarrassing that adult professionals need to be treated like children so it's a necessary evil.
