Roland Emmerich hates NYC, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Had Poseidon been a box office hit, remakes of Earthquake and Towering Inferno would've been green lit immediately. Airport is a solid adapatation of a great book, have u seen Airport 75 with Heston and Karen Black? Or the other two sequels it spawned Airport 77 and The Concorde: Airport 79?
