He's a Polar Bear Mink and the older brother of Bepo (the Polar Bear Mink on Law's crew). 15 years ago, Zepo and Pedro had sailed away from Zou together with a handful of other Minks. This flashback is from just 5 years ago when only these two have remained from the Nox Pirates; the others had grown weary and withdrew, some going back to Zou, others finding home elsewhere (at the beginning of the arc we actually met someone from Pedro's old crew who was living in Chocolate Town). Some additional info on Zepo: - He shares the same voice actor with his younger brother, Bepo. - According to Bepo in "One Piece Novel: Law" Zepo's name means handsome in the mink's language. - Both brothers were Second in Command on their respective pirate crews, and both of them had the role of Navigator, even though their respective captains were both pretty good navigators in their own right. Side note: After a couple of years of his brother's absence, little Bepo (8) couldn't wait anymore and runaway from Zou in search of Zepo. After a year, he found himself on Swallow Island in North Blue where he befriended Law and eventually Sachi and Penguin. (You can read about how the four of them became friends, acquired the Polar Tank, formed the Heart Pirates and started their adventures in "OnePiece Novel: Law")

13:53 This is the reveal of Baron Tamago 's DF. When I first introduced him back in FishMan Island, I had just mentioned that he's a DF user because of spoilers. So, here it is: Baron Tamago is the user of the Zoan Tama Tama no Mi (the egg egg fruit). As all Zoans it has 3 basic forms. But because of it's nature, these forms are a bit different from what we are used to. This is probably because of it's reference to the "Chicken or the Egg dilemma". Specifically: [From the OnePiece Wiki:] "The Tama Tama no Mi is a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that turns the user's body composition into that of an egg, which if cracked open will cause the user to regenerate into a stronger body that features more and more chicken-like features each time". So it basically goes: egg (Baron Tamago) => chicken (Viscount Hiyoko) => rooster (Count Niwatori)

So: Charlotte Pudding (16) is a hybrid between a human and a member of the ThreeEye Tribe. What's special about the ThreeEye Tribe, and the reason LinLin is so controlling of Pudding, is that they are capable of achieving Enlightenment/Awakening which makes them able to use the Voice of All Things and thus read the Poneglyphs. The circumstances under which Enlightenment is achieved are unknown however, as well as wether Pudding will be able to since she is a half blood. Pudding is also the user of the Paramecia/Paramythia Memo Memo no Mi (the Memory fruit). Some info on the ThreeEye Tribe: - A third eye, especially one located in the middle of the forehead, is a common belief in some religions. According to Hinduism, the third eye allows those who achieve its opening abilities such as clairvoyance, precognition, and visualization. Those abilities are referenced by Charlotte Linlin's expectations of her daughter. According to Taoism, the third eye is related to a person's memories. This is referenced by Pudding's Devil Fruit, the Memo Memo no Mi. - The ThreeEye Tribe is one of only two known land-based races to not be listed on the slaves price list, the other being the Kinokobito (the one with the many legs who was imprisoned inside a book a couple episodes ago). However, the list does mention "other rare species", suggesting that both races are very rare. Furthermore, because of their ability, many fans suspect that all or most Three Eyed people have been extinct. Pudding may be the last one of her people.

It's short and beautiful and tells you everything you need to know without revealing anything. It also doesn't require any prior knowledge. 21:11 Awhile back when I was talking about the importance of the SBSs in the manga, I had made an example of how Oda-sensei revealing the StrawHats' favourite foods there will be an important plot point later in the series. This is this moment. Sanji is shocked with himself because even though he was supposed to be cooking for Pudding, he unconsciously cooked all his nakama 's favourite foods. Because even if he tries to pretend, all his thoughts are of his crew. 23:57 Did you notice how Nitro the Jelly is present? This means that this is something sanctioned by LinLin, not something Pudding does of her own accord. 24:14 Unlike you, Sanji is horrified because Pudding is being mean, not because of her third eye. Personally I never understood why people are so shocked upon seeing Pudding's whole face. So she has a third eye, so what? This is not the important part in this scene. Also, we already knew that. When Pudding was first introduced at the end of FishMan Island, all of her face was clearly visible. It's just that for some reason people don't often make the connection between that girl and Pudding (Maybe because their demeanor is different 🤔)
