I think we need to give Wes a break. He’s a great song writer and when he’s on point , his voice is excellent. These days tho it is rather burnt out from decades of being a rockstar.(tune down a few steps should sort it..) Imagine how horrifically embarrassing and horrible it was for him to be humiliated with the about a girl cover and how much courage it takes to go in front of cameras again knowing it could blow up in your face again and you could become a meme. Poor dude is under a lot of pressure there and battling severe addiction. I think he knows the sound guys done a shit job too and he just doesn’t want to risk an awful performance being sent around the world.should note, He did also play drift and die , and cash and cobain before this , both of which weren’t bad.

This was a simple vocal chord issue, nothing to do with drugs or alcohol. Wes seems to be actually cleaning up his life. I say it was most likely a vocal chord issue, because they played in my small town one year, but didn't sound as powerful as they used to. Not saying they sounded bad though either, just not as powerful. They actually did great, and did a cover of Black Sabbath - War Pigs. Sounded kick ass!

@@flangecorp9789 And your comment makes absolutely no sense, because the current arrest had absolutely nothing to do with drugs or alcohol, but started from a traffic violation and then an outstanding warrant. Nothing to do with drugs or alcohol in the slightest. And we don't even know the full story of this recent arrest, just what was reported in the media. My original comment still stands, as the OP made it seem like Wes didn't finish the song because he was on drugs or was drunk, but rather, it was most likely to do with his shot vocals.

@@shaunrocks12 I didn’t refer to his alcohol/drug issues. Refusing to exit a vehicle, having a swat team turn up, and being pepper sprayed, suggests the man has not cleaned up his life yet. I like a few POM songs, it’s hard to see anyone battling inner demons, I have a few!

This guy always had problems, his voice on records is so beautiful, but live is so sad. See Scott Stapp from Creed, that guy is a miracle and a legend, he recovered from bad problems in the past and now Creed is back. I hope Wes handle these problems as a winner.
