I have 2 pudelpointers. They are the best dogs for hunting and family dogs. My 4 yo PP sleeps with my youngest daughter and my 10 month old PP sleeps with my 10 year daughter. The only problem is that people confuse them for other dogs.

I have had a Pudelpointer for 8 years now. Without a doubt, he is the best dog and worst dog I've ever had because he's so super super SMART. As an example, he figured out how to open gates and door knobs by the time he was 4 months old. You can't leave him in the truck with a set of keys either - he won't use the time signals! Unbelievable dogs and the most dedicated I've ever encountered. And hunting ...... OMG! I've watched him embarrass professional guides with their "high-powered" whatevers more times than I can count!

I have had two and a friend has had 4. Wonderful in the field and even better companions. I lost my last one April 1 to cancer.

This is awesome!! It’s so hard to find videos about pudelpointers. I have a 1.5 year old female named stella! She is the cutest dog ever! Like most pudelpointers she is very vocal and loves to talk and communicate as best she can with us. The are so incredibly smart and I couldn’t even imagine all the stuff she would learn so fast! They are the sweetest dogs I have ever met:)

I sit dogs while their owners are away and have been at it for years. I love the PudelPointer I have had the pleasure of watching three times now. I have hosted many dogs over the years. This 8 year old PudelPointer is smart and truly aims to please. She likes to cuddle and also stares deeply into my eyes. I would adopt her in a heartbeat! Her coat seems perpetually odorless, clean and shed-free. The owners won’t let me take her swimming because she is a trained hunting dog and they don’t want me to lose her, but I would love to take her to a river or beach. PudelPointers really stand out among all the dogs I’ve hosted.

Omg I just found this video after googling the breed from finding your Tiktok profile!! Remi reminds me of my Wolfhound mix- he’s much smaller than classic Wolfies so I’m always curious if he might be something else. Remi is beautiful and so is the breed!! My mom was a veterinary technician so I’ve always prided myself on knowing a ton of breeds but this breed is totally new to me and I love to learn ^_^

My favorite dog breed is whichever dog I have currently. They have included a Shetland sheepdog, a Jack Russell terrier and assorted mutts. We have a German Pudelpointer right now. She is wonderful. I often take her for long walks. We live out in the country. On hot days she always manages to find some water to use to cool off.

We were given our Pudelpointer by a family who had Bodies brother. They wound up with Bodie because of a divorce of one of their friends. They already had two dogs and thought a third was too much but agreed to find Bodie a home. Luckily that was me and I have to tell you they have no idea what they gave up. I was so heart broken over the loss of my dog Bridgit over 20 years before Bodie I almost didn't take him. I still think about Bridgit every day and I know I will suffer when its Bodie's time but meanwhile there are no words to explain how special these Pudelpointers are. He gives back 10 ounces of love for every ounce he gets.

My PP is larger than Griffons or GWPs. I've got a male and he's 27" at the shoulder and weighs 85 lbs. He is scary smart too. GREAT BREED!!!

I had a Griff for 13 years. We hunted seven different states and he was by my side from day one. He would accompany me trout fishing and slept next to me every night. I lost him to cancer last October. I am about to get a Pudelpointer for my last gun dog. I love the versatile Continental breeds like the Griffons, Wirehairs and Drahthaars. They can do it all and are great in the home, too.
