Three corrections to your narrative. The construction of Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay was started in the early 2000’s. The sister resort in town, Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan opened in 1987. The promotional all inclusive fee of $41 is only valid for seniors, age 60 and above. The suite you stayed in is not a “hotel room” but a “studio” which Pueblo Bonito calls a “junior suite”. The junior suite either has a king bed or two double beds. There are NO queen beds in any of the suites.

Did you guys stay for the eclipse? We are in Mazatlan and saw it today. The eclipse was great but we loved Mazatlan too. Highlight was a speed boat tour of the 10 islands of Mazatlan. I'll be back for sure.

Great video guys! We’re headed over next week from Switzerland. I had some questions concerning the restaurants. If we have the all-inclusive package can we eat at all of them or only certain ones? And at the sister resort? Also for packing purposes was there a dress code at the restaurants? Thank you in advance! Cheers 🍻

You can eat at all of the restaurants at both resorts. They also have a couple off resort restaurants but they have dress codes. On the resorts the dining is casual. -Marc.

Would you choose Mazatlan over the Riviera Maya? I think the Caribbean is much prettier than the Pacific. The only thing the Riviera Maya needs is mountains. It is as flat as a pancake.
