Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria. How many steps to the Europa Centre

Climbed those steps many times while on holiday in Puerto Rico up to the road was close on 800 ,I had to stop. ,doing it when I got up to 80years of age.

Hi Tom,. Thanks for your comments. Well I counted them twice , once going up and once going down. Hopefully I will be back next year so will count them again .

Is it safe?? Would you recommend staying near the top or bottom of the resort..do taxi s run if not able for the steps

Never had any issues regarding safety. I would stay near the bottom as much more to do and better access to transport , beach and shopping.

Were thinking of gling here in june. Married couple late 30s. But im reading two complete different opinions. Some people say its a great spot for the craic with good music spots and cheap drink Then others say its a "dump" with loads of places closed. I know to each their own but which is it?? Is it a good spot for good nitelife and food and drink ?? Thats all we want! Thanks

I would stay at the bottom rather than at Europa at the top. Stay in a decent hotel and lots of things to do at night and during day. Europa is a bit isolated in my opinion.

704 steps, it was written on the last step 800 steps last time i was there 4 years ago. someone need to learn how to count i guess,haha. i trust you Bill.

Good video! Can you tell me what u think of the nightlife at the europa? We are normally at the commercial centre aside but staying at roslara this time near europa. Thank you

Hiya, we always stay at the bottom and only occasionally venture to the Europa at night. Best place I recommend is the Temple Bar which has live music and a great atmosphere . Hope you have a great stay .
