I would stay near San Juan! There are many great hotels in the area and most things are close by. I would also HIGHLY recommend staying on one of the island (vieques or culebra) for a night and exploring the islands.

From a NJ guy, with family from PR - Well done! If you ever get into SCUBA, the tiny island of 2000 people my family is from, Culebra ... is the place. 18 miles off the east coast of PR proper, and 10 miles west of St. Thomas.

Thanks for sharing! I plan to stay in Luquillo and do a few day trips (El Yunique, Old San Juan, Flamenco Beach on Culebra). Is taxi / uber affordable or do you recommend I rent a car? I'm on a budget

Honestly I would highly recommend renting a car because it’s going o be roughly the same price to take Ubers everywhere and you will have much less freedom to explore. For example, el Yunque has many different areas that you’ll want to stop in, so it will be a challenge to do that with an uber. Have fun on your trip, you’re going to love it!!!!

Thank you very much!! 1. We didn’t use a tour guide, we just did a LOT of research beforehand. 2. We rented a car from the airport and we stayed near San Juan. It’s a nice place to stay with a lot to do. 3. We use a DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine drone

The other videos are wrong! It is definitely only 5 minutes 👍🏼 It’s a bit of a strange entrance though. You have to park outside of a house, pay Carlos (the home owner) $8 to park, and then walk down a trail through his yard.

Although, it is considerably hard to run a travel KZbin page without doing activities that are overwhelmingly non-handicapped accessible. I try to objectively pick the top 10 activities in each place regardless of if they are not easily accessible or physically challenging.
