After outscoring Puerto Rico, 67-31, in the 2nd half, USA won their first exhibition game, 117-74. Anthony Edwards (15 points, 4 assists) and Cameron Johnson (15 points, 6 rebounds) combined for 30 points for USA, while Tyrese Haliburton added 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 12 assists in the victory. Tremont Waters led all scorers with 17 points for Puerto Rico.

Banchero and Haliburton really stood out to me. Haliburton, I think everyone's already talking about how good he was in terms of playmaking, really showed why he's on another level. I never doubted it, this team has some talent! Looks like they enjoy playing with one another and that's the most important thing in international ball. That was a good game! Good defensive team and the scoring is there and plus they can get out and run. Size in lots of positions and that Austin Reeves has some skills! His game is perfect for international play! Tougher opponents will come but they will be good though.

@@edwin2769 Ingram is pretty good at facilitating after forcing the double. ANT still needs to learn that but he's athletic and skilled enough to score anyways. Besides, against some defensive juggernauts you need guys who will just score in your face no matter what.

@@justsomejusstsome8994 I'm pretty sure the Olympic team will end up a wholly different team. The Superstars tend to stick to the Olypmics, and with FIBA and the Olympics being back to back years now no player contending will play both unless they have something to prove.
