I'm a small investor with a couple of properties in the U.S. I spend a lot of time in PV, and would like to invest, but I don't have enough to purchase on my own. Are there any invest trusts or REITS available in PV?
@ElenaNevzaАй бұрын
@donaldkinsey5245 there are none as far as I know (or would personally trust) but there are a couple of emerging opportunities so stay tuned as I find out more info. Im also starting a VIP community with a JVs potential in mind.

PV is ruined with extremely high prices now

I wouldn’t say it’s “ruined” but yes, most beautiful, beach front cities with appreciating hard assets have seen a dramatic increase in prices, or is it that our money is worth less? 😉

It’s cheap for a reason. Rule of law is weaker in Mexico than countries such as the US. Making dispute resolution less efficient and less effective. Also you have liquidity problems when you want to sell. For one the Mexican market is weaker with relatively few prospective buyers. Even if you can find one they will have trouble getting a traditional mortgage. To say nothing of the cartels running things. I could keep going.

RE is less liquid in Vallarta than let’s say in Vancouver, Canada that’s correct, the rest of the comment I can’t agree with at all. I know for a fact since i live and own RE in PV that there are way more rights one has as an owner of their property and conflict resolution is done just fine when needed. I also believe it’s important to see “where the puck is going” when investing and in my view it’s not Canada or USA economies.

@ElenaNevza PV is beautiful but Mexico's new Prez, Sheinbaum is a socialist. Mexico is headed in the same wrong direction as US and Canada. Puck is headed to SE Asia, Thailand and Malaysia to name a couple of places.

@@ElenaNevza rule of law is much stronger in Canada and the US, for example. The rest of the world wants to invest there and not Mexico, go figure. A
