1:06 i been contemplating a splashpad, like a toilet paper like affordable accessory you use, you put in the water before u dookie, that helps stop splashback. but the thing is, it isn't foolproof because if u drop multiple logs, and the seal is broken.... idk. locking it in place by the edges of the bowl that aren't as wet seem the best option, but then there is still that repeat in same place dropping loads problem. as we all know 'flushable wet wipes' still clog sewers. so how to make something that is as disintegrable as toilet paper, that allows dookie to pass thru to the water, but not splash back come back. It's truly a crazy engineering problem when it comes to the materials and factors at play. Edit: Maybe double layered, and 1 layer is kind of a net that softens the blow to the water.... so less water comes back up, but then how is that biodegradable? Only other option i can think of is a floating type toilet paper screen between where ur bum is and the water*11(which if u think about it sounds nasty if maybe u have a liquid movement and it doesn't break thru that 1st protective layer to then hit the wate. the water submersion makes the smell less so if it was just suspended that wouldn't be good),*11 that somehow lets loose of the edge of the bowl or it's hold on a flush... seems impossible unless it wasn't flushed for a while so the edges where the water comes down in the inner bowl is dry. I'm telling y'all it's an age old problem that hasn't been solved for a reason but goddamnit we need to figure it out! also it has to be convenient. people who really need to go only have maybe 5 seconds to wipe the seat or figure something out in a public bathroom. gotta figure out if it's for the casual at home user(prob to begin with) so u can plan and do it right and not have problems. then in the future develop it better to be more mobile deployed on various toilet shapes and flush force/gallons used per flush. There are so many factors. I've been contemplating this for a decade.
