Puffins on the Isle of May & Drone Flights Over the Scottish Highlands (Ep 48)

An unforgettable day on the Isle of May!
The first day of this video takes us to the incredible Isle of May - what an amazing place! 🌿 With perfect weather on my side, I enjoyed the stunning scenery and the adorable seals playing in the waters around the island. 🦭 But the real stars of the show were the puffins! These charming birds nest on the island during the summer, and while many had already started leaving at the end of July, I was still lucky enough to spot quite a few of them. I’d love to return during the high season to see even more of these fascinating creatures.
The next day, I packed up and headed north again. Unfortunately, a late start meant I missed the chance to visit the Glenlivet Distillery. But this detour had a silver lining: the drive through the majestic Scottish Highlands was breathtaking! 🏔️ It was the perfect opportunity to send up my drone and capture some stunning aerial footage of the rugged landscape.

Another great video . I thought when you were flying the drone along the river that you were going to fly it under the old arched bridge. Love the fact you acknowledge other bikers and they do it also . When you were riding the lovely road beside the river I’m sure you noticed all the large black and white poles either side of the road . These are to show where the road is when it snows . Already looking forward to the next on

I would only try that if I'm close to the drone:) going that low would most likely lead to disconnection with the drone. Yes we have them on the road as well 😊

@ . Only been on a motorbike a couple of times and it was terrifying but your videos makes me feel like getting a bike and hitting the road through the mountains of Scotland. ( in my dreams maybe) . Enjoy wherever the road takes you.

The Scottish accent is lovely but it can be hard to understand sometimes, (subtitles could help😅). Great clarity on your video on the island. You have a great interest and love of nature and wildlife. Loving the journey so far. I love the sound of that GS.👍

Surreal watching your recent videos. I lived near anstruther for many years when I was young and went to school in nearby cellerdyke. I seen the isle of may every day from our front door but never visited. Now in an earler video when you arrived in Ireland you rode through enniscorthy in co Wexford wherei now live very close to. As I say it's very surreal. Thanks for some great videos.

Another great video, you know you missed something in Anstruther, the Anstruther Fish Bar, who's reputation is that it's the best fish n chip shop in the UK! I was there in June, it was very good! Next time perhaps?

@@roddorman8292 I was there 😅 I stood in line to eat fish and chips as a take away. The second I walked out with my food I involuntarily shared it with a seagull 😭 so I only had one piece of fish instead of two.
