I also ordered such a PUIG Plexi, but sent it back! I changed several times between the OEM and this back there, but the PUIG really beats the air on my chest and beats the jacket on my chest, while the OEM doesn't!

Love my Puig windscreen. If you want a real game changer look into the Corbin seat. Very comfy and able to customize the colors to match your bike. And a side bonus is a heated option. Another great video!

I put a Puig on my 2015 and 70mph+ makes a lot of down force on the top of my head and makes my neck extremely tired after around 2 hours.

I had the same issue on my Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE MY 2021: with the Puig windscreen, either I get turbulences and my head is shaking all the time, droplets that fall on the helmet are sent forward to the inside of the windscreen whilst driving 70 mph, either I get a lot of noise on the sides of the helmet, not bearable, with still turbulences. Effects depend upon the position high or low of the WS. I just bought a WRS windscreen, I need to mount it now.

Hi Andy, I’m having issues with the stock screen on my 21 versys, there’s that much buffeting on motorway journeys I’m getting headaches!!! Is the Puig screen much better, I’ve seen on later videos that you’ve also added deflectors and an extra deflector on the top of the screen, thanks Paul

Hi Paul, yes, Puig is better than OEM for sure, but is not perfect, that`s why I made deflectors. Hovever Puig is taller so it should help when it comes to turbulence on the helmet, I also bought a clip-on for my trip to scandinavia but to be honest it wasn't needed, I could do without it. Cheers.

Hi Andy! Thanks for all your videos, I keep watching them as inspiration on possible mods to the Versys. I bought this screen after seeing your video and it's a total game changer. I just get some vibration noise from the screen from 5500rpm onwards. Did you ever have this problem? Any suggestions? I've been re-checking the position of the rubber splitters, wether the screws are too tight, ... but no luck so far.

Hi , no, I've never had a problem with this, but I do have audible vibrations on the display, which is slightly irritating, so I understand your problem.Check the screws securing the frame under the screen (the big metal thing under the screen)

I'm 178 cm, the problem in my case is that I have short legs and a rather long torso, therefore I sit quite high, so for some of you oem windscreen may be quite OK

La Versys 1000 SE est livrée en standard avec un pare-brise de tourisme plus grand et, par conséquent, le support est différent, il est donc peu probable que ce pare-brise s'adapte aux Versys 1000 et Versys 1000S.

Hello Andy! Today I received this Puig windshield. I installed it and noticed the following. The original windshield goes down almost to the fairing. The Puig windshield has a much greater distance to the fairing compared to the original windshield. It will be the case that there will be less or no air turbulence at the top of the helmet. But due to the large distance below to the fairing, there wasn't much more wind coming from below???? Greetings from Styria. Herbert

it is suitable only for model 1000S and 1000SE with bigger Kawasaki touring screen. the standard versys (1000) has a different screen mounting and thus a different spacing of the mounting holes.

I make my own stickers with plotter machine, they are not included with screen 😄 I don't have buffering on the top of my helmet any more, so it is improvement.

Esta pantalla es 9 centímetros más alta que la pantalla OEM Kawasaki turística por lo que definitivamente sentirás la diferencia, pero con tu altura puede que no sea suficiente y necesitarás un alerón adicional. El viernes habrá un nuevo vídeo sobre esta pantalla, así que os animo a verlo. Saludos.

x ki può interessare... sulla mia versis 1000 S ho montato giovedi' scorso una corona con 3 denti in meno, adesso in 5' a 4000 giri sono a 90 kmh e ho ancora la 6'.. i giri in 6' a 130 kmh sono scesi di 800 prima era troppo impiccata.. ho verificato la velocita' con il gps.. adesso a 50 kmh di gps sono a 52 di contachilometri. 100 di gps 102 indicati.. quindi é migliorata anke la lettura, che il sensore é sul albero del pignone, prima c era uno scarto esagerato, non sò dunque di quanto sia migliorata la velocita' stessi giri stessa marcia, che non l avevo verificata con il gps.. anke la 1' che con la corona originale era troppo corta... e monterò le cartucce andreani nelle forcelle, le originali anke con l idraulica chiusa non mi piacciono.. consiglio a tutti la modifica...🍻
