Fantasy Life is overly underrated, even though its graphics are garbage compared to today's it deserves more attention just for its Concept, Plot, Design and Music. This game still remains my favourite of all time for the memories it has given me. Am still hoping for a sequel or at least a remastered version for the switch.

Fantasy Life truly is one of the best games ever made and one of the most fun experiences I've ever had with a video game. The fact that you can switch to a completely different gameplay loop on a dime whenever you want is genius, reminds me of reclassing in Final Fantasy but with way less hassle and grinding enemy encounters to get stronger. The music is top notch and the world and story are so well crafted if a little cheesy at times. The DLC adds so much to the enjoyability of the game and it's a shame the 3DS store is gone and you can't buy it any more. Im so glad this game is getting a sequel even if we had to wait so long for it because Fantasy Life is an underrated classic and I'm praying someday we get a modern console remaster with enhanced graphics so more people can fall in love with this masterpiece of a game

I agree. It's one of my top 5 favorite 3DS games, being Sm4sh, Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Ultra Sun, Fantasy Life, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance from least favorite to favorite.
