मैने 50साल पहले ये फिल्म टीव्हीमे देखी थी तभी मै कॉलेज मे पढता था. मैं jj का आर्टिस्ट हूं. मुझे ये फिल्म्सके सेट्स और सोहराबजी के डायलॉग्स बहुत अच्छे लगे थे. और चंद्रमोहन के बारेमे वो फिल्ममे raja के भूमिका किये लेकिन उसकी मौत एक भिकारी की तरह हो गयी थी. बहुत अच्छी जानकारी. 🌹🙏🏻

Great job in highlighting one of the landmark film. Luckily Good Quality prints were available for conversion first to VHS tape and then to VCD / DVD format and now mp4 . I first saw it in mid 60's when it was re-released with a NEW PRINT /// Sudhir /// Feb 23 2023

Congratulations on launching "Mayapuri." Maya Nagari, kyon nahin? Isn't that how Mumbai is known? I grew up hearing about this movie from my parents. I am a great fan of the late Sohrab Modi Saheb. In my view, he was one of the finest actors, director and producers in the history of Indian Cinema. He was a creative genius. No one else would ever come close to his powerful voice and effective dialogue delivery. I am ashamed to say that I have them, but haven't COMPLETELY watched the DVDs of "Pukar," "Jhansi ki Rani," "Nausherwan-e-Adil" and "Jailor" ... not from end to end. Your long-awaited segment has inspired me. These movies are on for the next weeekend's family entertainment.

There is a difference...Mayapuri is a part of Mayanagri... Mayanagri means Mumbai, whereas Mayapuri is specifically used for the Mumbai's film world. My show pertains to Mayapuri only...

Pukar [1939] definitely is a Landmark of Bollywood especially for its perfection be it acting and filming with the Technology of that time. More over the dialogues will always remain a treat to hear. Certainly, Sohrab M. Modi was very much ahead of his time in all aspects. Who can forget the 1941 Classic Sikander and the manner in which the Battle Scenes involving a number of Elephants and horses were shot and filmed. IT IS JUST MIND-BLOWING.

मै जब सातवी आठवी कक्षा में था तभी टी व्ही पर यह पुकार फिल्म देखी है।और आजतक मुझे इस फ़िल्म के सिन याद है।जैसे की जहांगीर ने न्याय मांगने वालोंके लिए अपने राज द्वार पर बडी घंटा टंगी थी।जिसे न्याय चाहिए वह घंटा जोर जोर से बजाकर न्याय अर्जी करे। इस फिल्म के पहले मैं सोहराब मोदी की सिंकदर पर बनी एक फिल्म देखी थी। नाम याद नही उस फिल्म में सिंकदर का किरदार पृथ्वीराज कपूर जी ने निभाया है।और पूरू राजा का खुद सोहराब मोदी जी ने। तब मै भी सोहराब मोदी जी का फेन हु। क्योंकी उनकी कुछ फिल्मे ऐतिहासिक है। जो मुझे बहुत पसंद लगती है। मुझे इतिहास में बहुत रूची है। उस दौर में फिल्मी तंत्रज्ञान इतना विकसित नही था। ऐसें मे ऐसी फिल्म बनाना बडी बात है। आपका यह व्हिडिओ बहुत बहुत भा गया है।पुरानी यादे फिरसे फिल्म के साथ-साथ उभकर आयी।आपको बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद
